Here's my first crystals

The Naphtha was taking a while to evap in the trays so i covered them overnight with cling film, woke up to find lots of dark yellow stuff under the Naphtha, along with my first crystals forming, lots of clear shards each about 0.5cm long!

I'm now evapping in a glass tray, scraping, putting in a beaker, add warm Naphtha, pour off Napthha into tray leaving behind gunk, doing this over & over until i'm left with something white, there's so much red/yellow gunk in this no way im ever shaking the container or doing heated pulls again, it's too much hassle cleaning it up.

I'm losing a little yield everytime i scrape the tray as there's obviously DMT left in the gunk stuck to the tray that i can't get off.

Next time going to get a big round glass jar & will swish Naphtha in solution then siphon off, will not leave overnight or heat at all.

Not sure if i messed up the whole thing now, after evaping in the tray the second time the stuff i scrapped was just a black resin (and not much at all) i resdissolved the resin in warm Naphtha, no gunk formed at the bottom of the beaker this time, it just turned back into red Naphtha, i'm sticking it in the freezer hoping something precips out.

Next time no evapping on glass trays at all, i'm also not leaving Naphtha in solution over night and having to deal with this red naphtha again, everything will be at room temp apart from re-X.

I'm buying a 7 litre glass jar that is round so i can just swish the contents when i do a pull.

What happened?! Did you throw anything away? No need to ask to delete thread as others may be able to learn from your mistakes. Sorry to hear in didn't turn out well

I undeleted the posts that had been deleted as they made the thread disjointed and hard to read. Chronic, please understand that when you are posting something on the Nexus you are publishing it in the public domain and it no longer belongs solely to you.

We operate as such in order to keep the Nexus pristine and continuous. This stems out of several incidents where members decided to mass-delete their posts.

Additionally, while you may view the thread as garbage or a waste of posts, as it did not turn out like you planned, it's quite possible that it could be educational to other individuals. While I'm sure some of us would much rather share only our successful exploits, that would undoubtedly diminish the quality of information here as well as create a space less reflective of the realities of life.

Fair enough, sorry for deleting my first post, i've basically ended up with red naphtha that seems to be slowly slowly freeze precipitating out very yellow DMT.

As soon as i get my Naphtha im going to redissolve it all and do an A/B & then re-pull with fresh Naphtha.



I threw away the NaOH/H20 solution as i felt i got most if not all of the DMT out, i haven't thrown away the red Naphtha though as it smells of DMT so i know it's in there!
