I know I'm preaching to the choir here. But I'm angry about the totally lax tolerance for the confusion of the roles of government here in the states... I just visited the friendly DOJ/DEA's website and found a feature section on it's front page entitled, "DEA SPEAKS OUT AGAINST LEGALIZATION." I'm not confused in thinking the DOJ&DEA was part of the LAW ENFORCEMENT branch of government, whereas the LEGISLATURE (elected_enpowered directly by the people) was the LAW ENACTING branch of government? It doesn't follow that a law enforcment agency's official page contains commentary of a certain point of view as to what the law should be or become, complete with supporting articles, rather than focusing on the current enforcment of what it actually is, exclusively- as enacted by the legislature/people. The very first part of the Constitution of the U.S. even states, "All legislative powers shall be vested in the congress..." The Dept. of Justice needs to be silenced regarding their commentary about what the laws should be, and mind their own commissions to enforce, not stick their nose in the business of the legislature&people.

I agree with everything you are saying, but you expect way to much from the DEA/DOJ Sad

Sad state of affairs..

Dude none of our governing branches do what there supposed to. If the people lead then the leaders will follow because they will have to. People are to complacent.

Sounds like somebody doesn't like losing some of their job security. Pleased

Marijuana is a large chunk of their work. Its like a company losing their biggest customer. Lol

That's very smart, Spock'sbrain. I hope you spread the word about this, and contact whatever people of power should be interested in such a thing.
