might this precipitate the change required to shorten his or her sentence?
perhaps tripping would give him the power to blunder past the gaurds in a confused bustle?
maybe it would lead to catatonic dispair at an allready bad situation?
perhaps it would give a blinding insight into the personal issues surrounding the crime
committed, leading to a wholesome reform when leaving?
