Hi all, I have some "spent" yellow naphta left and I would like to try to extract what is left (probably some n oxide) with IPA but I do not know if both are miscible or not... do you have the answer please ? thanks! Why not just evap the naptha? I see no need for additional solvents... yes they will mix..
And if its n-oxide you wouldnt have a problem removing it, it will crash out when naphtha is cold (though its still doubtful how much n-oxide will go to warm naphtha in the first place).

yes they will mix..I had the same idea...they mixed into one solution..and salting it out was like..sort of messy..and I think its hard to salt it out of that mixture becasue the iso holds on to some of it in the naptha... Long live the unwoke.
