For the past two months or so, I've been following Q21Q21's tek (or perhaps a slight variation) with great success. This time, I got different root bark than what I had been using. This time I got it from the JimJamShop, figuring if the nexus endorses it, it would probably be wise to try the root bark from there. So anyway, I did the tek the same as normal: acidified with vinegar and water; basified the 100g of root bark with ~70g of lime and the occasional splash of hot water, but normally the resulting consistency is very moist and batter-like. It's usually is quite gray with the brown crust forming on top until mixed, but this time it's remaining very dark brown and is almost the consistency of soil. Aside of changing what root bark I used, I performed the tek exactly the way I've been doing for the past two months, but the consistency is quite different. I wasn't sure if the "flow" of the mix had anything to do with extracting the DMT. What do you guys think? Should I have anything to worry about, or should I move on to adding the naptha (I've already been mixing for a long time now)?

more lime...
that seems to be the only thing I can think of! Do you have a pH tester? If the pH is well above 12 then you should be fine, but this sounds like you havent added enough lime.
