I have done this tek a few times and cannot figure out where i went wrong! I had just poured the naptha off my evaporation dish, and left the pan in the bathroom to evap, but when i came back all my beautiful white crystals were gone! Does anyone know what caused this and if there is any way to remedy this situation???

I'm not being funny, but is it possible something got at the dish, like a cat or a bird? The trees spoke to me through the wind. The more I listened, the more they spoke.

I think what happened is somehow the naptha warmed back up and redissolved the dmt, i threw it back in the freezer and the crystals came back, however with significantly less yield.... Thanks vibrancy next time i will definitely be covering it up!

A good trick is to pour the naptha off quickly, then keep the bowl upside down in the freezer with one edge propped up a few cm and a plate underneath it all. This gets rid of most of the naptha before you bring it out and it has a chance to warm up and dissolve your spice. During the whole process alfoil is rubber banded to the top of the bowl and replaced after pouring the naptha out and tipping it upside down. Water ice will cause just as much problems as warm naptha so you need to keep that out.
