I got this cacti from home depot a few weeks ago becasue it looked like it might be intereesting to grow and ingest..but im not sure what it actaully is..the only magic cacti I grow is torch and this is def not torch.. Long live the unwoke.

Definitely Trichocereus, nice find! Never seen one so spiny, so I don't know exactly what it is. Probably has a decent amount of alkaloids in it by the looks of it!
One day when it's more mature you're going to have to cut a foot down and brew it (or you know, whatever your preferred method of ingestion is)
If I had to guess, I'd say it was a bridgesii because it's definitely not torch or pachanoi. There are too many hybrids out there to keep track of!

certainly looks VERY tasty to me. Perhaps too spiny (and light colored?) to be Pach...maybe the angle of aerole and notch suggest bridgesii or one of many crosses floating around out there. In any case, bon voyage for sure! WHOA!
