Hello everybody.

The only reason I felt like registering on here is because I'm one of the few lucky vaporizer users. I actually have been using my V-Tower Extreme for a couple of years already, so I consider myself pretty much experiencied with the psychedelic world of vapor. I also wanted to let you all know: buying a Volcano is NOT obligatory, to enjoy the magick of a vaporizer. It's extremely expensive and to be honest, there is no difference, quality-wise, between the Volcano and the V-Tower Extreme. The only difference is that one will go for more or less 500$ and the other for more or less 300$. Also there seemed to be quite a bit of misinformation about vaporizers on the many head forums that I have visited over the last 2 years. Many bong users seem to think that there's not much of a difference between vapor and smoke, both in taste and effect-wise. I guess no one really likes to be told that there actually is a better way to do what he so much likes doing his way.

Now, I know this forum is specifically related to DMT so I'm speaking more "in general". There is a huge difference between vapor and smoke. As I was a daily weed smoker for years, both my head and my lungs started hating me, but ever since I've discovered the sweet power of vapor, I couldn't go back to smoking. Whenever I sometimes do, the feeling is not the same anymore. Which brings me to the difference in effects. I'd argue that there is such a difference. First difference: quantitative. Every experienced smoker I've initiated to vaporizing were all amazed at how much high they could get with seemingly not much material. Instead of a big spliff, they would inhale like 5 large hits of vapor and get where the big spliff would bring them, minus a certain amount of material. Therefore I'm pretty sure that this also applies to DMT, and in fact it does. Since nothing is lost using a vaporizer, you will of course need less material to get to the same place, and every time you will do, you will make sure not to waste any mg of your sacred material.

Second difference: qualitative. One could go as far as to say that the vapor produced by a vaporizer is even more pure than anything you could come up with manually. Not only is it much nicer with your lungs, but one thing is for sure, I notice something different about the way I feel it coming. It's hard to put that in words. It's less aggressive, sweeter, and when you think about it, more respectful to the plant, since you're never burning it all, but only taking what you need from it. Third difference: easiness. Whether you want a DMT trip or some THC fun, everything is so much easier with a vaporizer. For weed I will use my whip and for DMT a bag. In both cases, I fail to see why someone would prefer a spliff or a pipe or a bong or a torch or whatever. One last thing I'd like to advise vaporizer non-users: if you have never tried it, don't judge it! It's like nothing you could only imagine. Personally, I see it as a revolution for the heads.

I agree, my switch to vaporizer (Extreme Q) has been one of the best decisions. Definitely a different high, and it hits you in a different way, and you DEFINITELY use way less material to get there! Quite amazing. the vape sessions at my place are always fun! Smile

Welcome to the forum!

I’m wondering how a genuine vaporizer compares to what I use – the Glass Vapor Genie. It seems to me that more DMT vapors might condense in a vaporizer bag than condense in the GVG, since with the GVG the vapors are immediately inhaled.

Have you (or anyone else reading who has a traditional vaporizer) ever used a GVG or even a VG? Either way, how do you think they might compare?

I agree 100%. I got tired of wasting my DMT with a bong and shitty technique. The Volcano is foolproof.

Yea vaporizers are #1, although I didn't read the OP... (Why can't people learn how paragraphs are made? xD) I will say that I'm pretty sure most everyone on this forum will agree with you (and those that don't know will figure it out eventually) and I don't see the need for you to make this post... unless your simply "marketing" that product...

But eh...

yeah, I don't think I would spend $300+ on a vaporizer, I'm happy using my $60 dollar wood vapor genie, may eventually get the glass one for just DMT though, using the wood for both weed and dmt now, and dmt leaves a taste/smell in the bowl when you smoke weed later.

Then use two different glass bowls, one for the spice and the other one for the green. Very simple solution to a non-existent problem. That's also part of the vaporizer's charm, and seriously I'm not trying to sell it, it's simply my enthusiastic ideas regarding vapor as the vehicle for material dissolution into the psychedelic experience of the mind body structure. Futhermore, I find the vapor produced by an electronic vaporizer more subtle so to speak, more to the point, almost no thickness, only something almost aether-like. It's only a subjective experience that I wanted to share, maybe it will convince some people to at least try it, or others who feel like me, to share their experience with us. Heh, I'm not working for any vaporizer multinational evil-economics, still I respect the V-Tower Extreme; it's been a good friend of mine over the years. V-Tower Extreme, what a great name for such a mental teleportational portal eh?! Twisted Evil With the V-Tower vapor, there is less of the smell and more of the taste. What do you think, fellow explorers? I'd love to hear from the volcanos owners, or anyone else with any kind of electronic vaporizer. Where are the vaporist aetherians?

Hey massfreehead I too have a v tower (and i absolutely love it) but i currently only use it for herb. My plan is to get a big bowl of mint or parsley and put the dmt on top. Does anyone know if this will work? My guess is the plant material would be enough to prevent the dmt from running all down the glass but i'm not sure and certainly don't want to risk any damage. I was wondering how you did it and what temp you used.

I had a volcano which I sold before I had any DMT to vaporize, but in comparison with smoking, I found it to be inconvenient and ineffective. You'd have to have somewhere to plug it in, then you'd have to wait for it to heat up, then you'd have to fill the bag and it was a pretty noisy ordeal. It's not like I was doing something wrong either. I had friends come over who had used volcanoes in the past and they got their "so high I'm in a coma" highs that they had from the other volcanoes, but it just didn't do it for me. Part of me thinks that there's a large confirmation bias when using a volcano. Also, I much more preferred the sensations of actually smoking something than vaporizing which didn't really feel like I'm smoking. I sold it for $200 less than I bought it for, cause the guy I sold it to could actually appreciate it, and I would just use most of my other pieces most of the time anyway.

Meanwhile I have a GVG and I just recently bought a VG which I use for exclusively vaporizing weed so my GVG doesn't taste nasty when I go to vaporize DMT. When I vape weed out of the VG, I love it. I get just as high as I would from smoking if not a bit higher and it also feels like I'm smoking in my mouth, throat and lungs but with a cleaner taste. For me, the jury isn't out on which taste I even like better anyway. I've grown accustomed to the taste of weed smoke, even though the vapor is more refined. Although, after vaping weed in the VG and then smoking that same weed later in the day, the smoked weed does taste cruder in comparison. The VG isn't very convenient around company cause you gotta try to make sure that everyone has proper lighting and inhaling technique, and it can create complications where they may both not receive a lot of vapor (if any) or screw up the ceramic filter (or both). Bongs and pipes usually require zero-little education and are pretty universal as far as technique goes.
