Two months ago SWIM tried to extract DMT from MHRB (Marsofold's tek) but he stoped in the basification step. Today he tried to proceed the extraction so he added the hexane to the basified liquid, but the hexane didn't stay in the top, it got mixed with the liquid. Why that happened? Because a lot of time has passed between the basification and the non polar extraction? Maybe he should do the basification again?

How long did you leave it to separate?

Have you looked at the my layers wont separate section in the FAQ?

SWIM left it to separate for more than 4 hours now.
SWIM just read that section in the FAQ and it was very helpful, thanks! Very happy Maybe SWIM will just add more basic water and see what happens..
