okay, okay....i'm not the arbiter of all things chemistry here. please note the definite LACK of a little flask beneath my name.

that being said, i did manage to conjure up some mighty massive crystals recently during a rextal of some brown sludge i had in a jar... i knew there was plenty of magic in it, but i had NO IDEA i would get what i got here....

now- keep in mind that i actually like a bit of yellow in my spice. i agree that these could be cleaned up substantially, but they are SO MASSIVE i almost think that they are sending some sort of message that they WANTED to be exactly as they are! Pleased

either way, enjoy these babies. each one represents MANY deep breakthroughs. i personally love the one that looks like a clear-ish crytal with the fats almost appearing like 'pollen' on the tips of the shards... man...i need a better camera!

much love and gratitude!!

Phluxie my brother- i'm honored that you would be impressed! you are my crystal-guru after all.... Pleased

i used heptane. got it piping hot and dissolved the sludge. put it in a medium-depth pyrex dish and as the flotsam settled, i syphoned it off with an eye-dropper. i used quite a large amount of solvent in proportion to the sludge. probably about 75-100ml for about 3 grams of goop. let it just sit on my kitchen counter for 4 days while i went out of town to go race the national championships in texas. when i came back....BOOM! i felt like superman standing in his crystal fortress of solitude!! Pleased

that massive 1.6 gram specimen is quite possibly the most beautiful thing i've ever beheld. i just want to set it on the altar in my healing room with my other crystals. it's THAT BIG!! man....i love this magical molecule.....

oh yeah...and i won nationals too! Very happy

what a blessed life i live....

Incredible results! SWIM has never made crystals or even used re-x for that matter, but these pics have served as an inspiration, which is soon to result in some work with crystals. thanks for sharingVery happy

Ha ha, and ms_manic_minxx was joking about psychedelic prince charming have 100mg crystals... you just figuratively conked him on his bufo-alvarius-riding head!

That's crazy. You could make earrings. That was really from sludge???

Will you do it one more time to clean em up, or are you keeping them for your scrapbook?

i'm truly torn.... i already have a few grams of some barely pale yellow spice that i might try to do this process with in the aim of getting some beeg, honkin' 'phlux-grade' pure crystals....

as for these guys...immma gobble 'em up just as they are.

except for my caterpillar... nobody touches my caterpillar. his name is Shardy and he talks to me at night...

Shocked

Nice XXXXXXTALLS!!I'm glad those last ones weren't posted with no text, or I would have recommended you rush to your dermatologist about those vaguely DMTesque growths in your palms!! I have yet to grow crystals, but between your posts and phlux's, I am intrigued and inspired!

well OBVIOUSLY the U.S. crystal-growing nationals.....duh....

Pleased

for the sake of not giving away my identity completely, i will simply say that it involved two wheels, a pair of pedals, a round bowl-like track and a pair of (now very exhausted) quadricep muscles...

other than that, i don't know what you're talking about... Very happy
