I'm ordering jwh-018 for the second time and I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with it. It's the main ingredient in spice and k2. I'm trying to quit nugs so i can get a job.

You are trying to quit smoking cannabis with a substance that acts more or less just like cannabis? I'm sorry, what?! That is not the best idea I've heard. I can see that cannabis may be hard to quit, but really, all that is needed is to stay strong for a few days, then you will feel so much better that you don't even consider starting to smoke every day again.

If you want aid in quitting with cannabis, try iboga or caapi (either with or without DMT)!

Lol, JWH doesn't show on drug tests. Also, I recently quit for 2 weeks so I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but I am interested in iboga and caapi.

dont forget to exercise and eat good, I think these two are essential for quitting any negative habits one may have.

018 is a very interesting experience. it can be psychedelic and very insightful. go a little higher and it can be uncomfortable and terrifying. it's definitely not cannabis but it's similar. the analytical headspace it puts me in is very reminiscent of good old L25 believe it or not, which can be a little overwhelming when just trying to get high Smile

073 is much more mellow and less psychedelic and harder to OD on. I prefer this variation for getting high. as much as I like these chemicals, something tells me not to use them too often.

pure JWH is sparkly, crystalline, and yellowish/tan. if it's white it has impurities and has oxidized. peace

I get 99.9% pure and it is white powder. I think your yellow stuff is impure. I've had one bad experience with jwh but it was because I was being reckless.

Your vender is lying for marketing purposes. Look up the scientific facts regarding JWH purity. The man who synthesized it said so himself (John W Huffman).

Crystalline, sparkly, indole-smelling, yellow/tan sticky substance. The legitimate venders that sell to research facilities sell this pure product. The other guys who have products that don't match this description are keeping their stuff around too long, adding stuff to it to make more profit, or carrying over byproducts from the synthesis.

Just the facts

Quote:
Pure JWH-018, JWH-073, JWH-200, and JWH-250 is actually brown in color and is lumpy, dry and is somewhat sticky in nature. When it is still in its raw form, the compound is quite dense. The denser the compound, the darker it can appear to be. When it goes through certain processes such as crystallization, its appearance will definitely change. This raises confusion as to the purity and actual appearance of the JWH-018, JWH-073, JWH-200, and JWH-250.

When John W. Huffman (the first chemist to synthesize JWH Series) was asked β€œWhat color is JWH-018?”, his reply was, β€œPure JWH-018 is a very pale amber gum”.

I have trouble seeing how something that is yellow and sticky may be totally white and crystalline if diluted. The yellow color simply wouldn't disappear, it would only be more and more pale. How do you know for a fact that the quote from Huffman isn't a forge? Where is the original source for that quote? Could it be that the vendors selling impure sticky and yellow stuff made that up as a marketing trick?

I'm just theorizing, I don't know the answer myself.

Ok, I guess it's very pale amber. It seemed pure enough when I did it.

In my experience with the white jwh its a cloudy and chalky powder and you need a lot more material to get the same effect.
the yellowish stuff is crystaline and sparkly unlike the white, and its dense and only the tiniest grains are needed for profound effects. (1mg and under)
if that's not pure than i don't know what is.

isnt pure thc the same way?

073 is the least strongest that i've used so far (which I prefer), then 018, then 250 (being the strongest by weight)

1mg? That must be pure. My average dose is 5-10mg but in a few bowls.

I don't have a -073 source but I can get -250 although it's more expensive.

pure THC is actually an oil as are many cannabinoids. in Huffmans original papers on JWH compounds and some of the earlier chemical supply houses (not RC but academic) state and sold JWH-018 as a yellow oil. (one was tocris) SWIMs freind has a ref standard of this and it is a transparent yellow oil. This is pure and on sitting out can set-up to a waxy white-yellow soild. This was what was also sold as the early JWH on the RC scence. However it seems that some of the RC companies figured out a way to crystallize this oil and thus started selling white solids. The waxy product was still pure. SWIM friend has analyzed several samples of JWH from different RC vendors. All where white solids some crystalline some chalky. All were of very high purity.

Any other colors in your product like brown suggest indole based impurites. Also the pure compound does not have much of a smell (slight indole ie sweet) but some of the indole side products STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN so if there is any strong smell or taste for that matter it may be impure.

SWIM would feel effects of 018 off of about 2 mg. 3mg would be a typical dose anything higher would be quite strong. SWIM does not have a tolerance to cannabinoids anymore. 073 is a milder high (more like sativa -body buzz) and shorter lasting (45 minutes rather than an hour for 018. Many I know have also stated this but some may be different. Also there seems to be no burn-out effect from these as opposed to strong cannabis. The JWH-250 intoxication lasts about 20 minutes. This is actually nice for the occasional toker who wants a quickie....Wink but for those who like cannabis 018 is probably the most similar to good quality weed.

I am not trying to scare anyone but I would not recommend using any of these napthalyene containing compounds on a regular basis or any novel drug for that matter. Some related (napthalene containing that is) compounds have toxicity in humans however some others do not. (see bluelight for more info) There is a lot of debate on this there although many on there seem a little paranoid.

To some it up people say the epoxide intermediates of napthalene compounds can cause DNA damage .... etc.... however a recent paper found the diol metabolites (implicating an expoxide intermediate)were only a minor metabolite of JWH-018. There is also evidence that it is not the expoxides that are the problem with napthalenes but rather the resulting Naphthoquinones that results from further oxidation. The meaning of this remains to be known. I would not be worried using it occasionally but until it is studied in more detail it should not be used as a daily cannabis replacement for long periods.

I dont know about the legitimacy of these rumors i heard from a guy at a party the other night but he was telling me that the use of the JWH family chemicals lowers your white blood cell count dramatically and it can cause seizures if you overdose. I prefer to stay away from RC chemicals just because they have been out for so little of time and there is no idea what the long term effects of these substances may be on your body and brain.

I am not aware of any published accounts of this but I will check. Very minimal has been studied in humans regarding these compounds. In addition one has to view reports of hospitalized patients with skepticism as so many uncontrolled variables are involved. Especially when they report results from one or two subjects.

A few minutes of searching on google scholar and pub med found nothing. Cannabis has been reported to effect white blood cells so that may be where that came from. There seem to be no published reports of JWH-018 having this effect that I'm aware of.

NOTE: This does not mean that it is safe or that it doesn't cause these effects. It just is not really known. This said it seems to be okay as far as acute toxicity goes as many people use it daily with problems I would not recommend doing this or any unknown substance for that matter on a daily basis.

So I get my order, and the first thing I read on here is "In hospital, man claims he's a casualty of JWH". Lol, I'll try it later...

^ I think he meant he wants to pass drug tests without the hassle of trying to cheat them - and JWH allows him to get high without anything being detected in a drug test.

Anyway, I know people who have taken up to 400mg of JWH (someone thought it was something else, and stupidly, against all my advice, took a huge dose) - they had a horrible experience but they had no physical or mental damage due to the experience.

JWH is safe but as it *is* a research chemical, don't go for ridiculous doses like you might do with more well known substances.

yeah i wouldn't replace a cannabis habit with JWH. JWH seemed kind of dry feeling also, like somehting was missing. it may help you get over that initial hump of stopping your MJ use, but i wouldnt use it long term. Plus its really easy to OD on this stuff, see jwh hellride thread if you want more info.

Was wondering what you guys think about DMT & JWH-018?
SWIM had some ontop of changa and found it to be a grounding type of energy.
