I'd love to be part of your group Good luck and just remember to respect this substance. Well if you don't you will get a kick in the nuts that will teach you But with good intentions one should not have to fear anything. Even if you have a rough ride some day, it's ok. You will be fine. ––––––
DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction. I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!

Seems I read you wrong first time around - my apologies for making assumptions. You appear determined to continue your journeys, and you want to see more. I hope your journeys are positive, healing and enlightening, for you and your friends. In dealing with pre-flight anxiety, I would clean and tidy whatever space I was launching from, go for a long walk where I could defocus and try to find my true intention, followed by a bit of yoga and 10 minutes or so of deep meditative breathing - the last of which is most probably the most effective. I guess it's like child-birth that way ;-) safe travels, friend "at journey's end, we must begin again"

Interestingly enough all though it wasn't a break through I was enjoying the closed eye visuals of a small dose when I heard a distinct voice say "Don't do this". I took it to mean that I shouldn't be using the spice so willy nilly and that if I intend to smoke I should go for a breakthrough with the intention to learn as much as possible. As for pre flight anxiety I find that a simple heartfelt prayer does the trick. From heart beating out of the chest anxiety to a feeling that I was being shielded from anything negative, but that's just me to each their own. "This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes."

Eden wrote:88 wrote:I guess it's like child-birth that way ;-) Haha, I'm always going to think of this now. Eden, this is a quote from part 4 of this trip reportJBArk wrote: Quote:Imagine the utter terror experienced by a newborn: jettisoned from the womb, umbilical cord clipped, drawing in its first gulp of air and opening its eyes to the hostile light of the world for the first time; oxygen flooding virgin lungs, a whole cardiopulmonary system shocked into action, those little orbs set in a tiny skull that have never seen more than the dim red glow of placenta being opened to a universe of reflection and refraction, shards of light bounding around in a seeming assault, a barrage of alien colour and intensity; and the sounds - never such cacophony, billowing around the small cartilaginous shells that heretofore have heard no more than the dull distant thud of their mother's heart, now subjected to screeching frequencies unimaginable...
I have to think of these experiences as a form birth for them to make sense. Something that will soften to some level of comprehension, or at the very least diminished violence, in subsequent trips, like the newborn slowly adapting to a novel, strange reality... Definitely birth-like, as 88 noted, except instead of delivering, you are the one delivered into a new world!! JBArk JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Hi all, I just got back from my weekend at the hippie-rave thing, and just wanted to check in. Despite some hesitation from me and some reservations from some of you, I did 4 trips there and they were very positive and enriching. They first opened me up to the event going on around me and allowed me to enjoy myself, and ultimately launched me beyond the jimjam and into an abstract realm of ideas that I had never experienced before. I will now take some time to integrate all of these first experiences, and hope to write a more detailed trip report soon. Thank you all for your advice. SWIM is Spartacus!
