Each clone has it's own unique make-up of compounds and potency, the only way to know is to test the clone.

Ordered this cutting from the basement shaman labeled as a torch. It looks like it may be a cuzco. The spines are yellow at the top and light grey towards the bottom.

I was sold this as SS01 X Juul's Giant from Basement Shaman, about 2 years ago. It is active, in that 16" is a very weak euphoria (could be placebo) I haven't had the chance to try any more than that though. I was wonderng if it is actually SS01 x Juul's Giant because they have since sent me a Cuzco as a Peruvianus.

SS01 X Juul's Giant

and what has been identified as Cuzcoensis by various, unrelated people on the internet.

(Just curious if you guys have the same opinion)

Hi all!

I just bought this little cactus today, but it had no details with it. It looks like a San Pedro to me from descriptions and other people's photos. Can anyone confirm?

Thank you! Roll on my little garden! :-)

Entheojen, thats a myrtillocactus geometerizans. Pretty nice ornamental or grafting stock, but not active. The subtle differences in shape at the tip and areoles/spination are the giveaway for me.

Help on identifying this. I can't tell what this is, it looks most closely to trichocereus cuzcoensis but I really can't tell. It has this bluish tint to it and the spines are about an inch long (it's still young though). There are 8 ribs in a symmetrical octogonal pattern and it is about 6-7 inches high currently.

i have 2 cactus cuttings which im not too sure about. 1 of them was sold to me as a peruvian x bridigessi. is has 9 v shaped spines, with long 1-2+ inch spikes. but the 2 very healthy (<3) babies have 7 and 8 spines. and the color is a blotchy dark green

the other one, was given to me and its very different from anything ive seen on the net. the spikes are very long (2-3+ inches) and V the spines (6 or 7) are very wide and flat shaped. it is a very light consistent green. also, rather than posting a new thread on it... i recently uprooted this cactus to check if it had rooted properly. cause all the cactus around it has numerous babies and this doesnt. but once i took it out i realized that it has a tiny baby that was growing from the tip of the base underneath the soil. does this mean its planted the wrong way up? the spikes are pointing up atm (but they should point down?)

pictures will follow about a week, as im working away from home atm.

the shorter spined one looks more peruvianoid than the longer one which could be a bridgexperu, but looks more like a cuzco to me

full sun grown tip shots would be more helpful,

i commented on that, and the soil in the other thread......
