Do you know if those long spined ones in the last pic are active? I have a very similar cutting to that and have been told different things by different people regarding it's activity.

the few in that genotype that are known to be active are still pretty weak ime, but way too little testing has been done to make a definitive reply

indeed. penis bridgesii=monstrose bridgesii.
though this cactus is a bridgesii monstrose too and is not the "penis plant".
there are too different kinds. one grows tall the other grows in short stubs.

known clone there Dragonz..
i recieved mine 8yrs ago as :"short spined peru monstrose" from cacti pro ms smith
but basically both those pics are of the same clone it goes back and forth between normal, mostrose, and crested growth
t.pachanoi-nice one too, that qualifies as pron in my book Smile

are those juuls giants seed grown crosses(like SS02 X juuls),or from a clone; I hear a lot of variability about the potency?
