Bought one at Lowes today and wonder if it's active...Anyone know?

some have been proven to contain trace amounts of goodies,
ref mr shulgin

overall, a nice plant with little entheo value

I believe that its active although it is not mescaline. I bought one at home depot last year. I haven't tested it myself though.

All the T's contain phen's and MAOI's. The quality of effects induced by them just doesn't always match that of mescaline.

i looked in my copy of "trout's notes on san pedro" and the only reference to Grandiflorus was in passing.
there was no text stating anything about it's psychoactivity, or verified bioassays.
since that book is absurdly detailed, i'm gonna say i highly doubt it's active enough to be useful...
you'll just have to water and love him instead!

SWIM just bought one of those today. erowid lists it as active but with trace amounts of mescaline.
