It seems some of these last 50 g did not get in touch with the basified aqueous solution. If the aqueous solution is basified enough (do you have some pH paper by any chance?) you may try the following:
a) Stir vigorously your jar so your naphta is completely mixed with the aqueous solution then let it sit for a while. See what happens to the mhrb trapped in naphta. It should settle down.
b) Evaporate your naphta completely with a fan, stir your aqueous solution and pull with fresh naphta.
If your aqueous solution is not basified enough (for an STB pH~13), then additional lye is your only hope.
Do not seek the truth, just drop your opinions.
