Hi, I have spent a long time looking for the answer and I'm sure it's easy to find but I have been unable to. SWIM just extracted about 1g of off-white mesc using phlux's tek (very exciting as this is his first time). He decided to try washing it but could not really find clear instructions on how to do it. He put 300mg of mesc in a glass dish and added enough acetone to cover it. He broke up the shards and let it sit for a few minutes. He then poured off the acetone making sure no visible solids escaped. He evapped what he had left and it turned out to be dark brown and weighed only 70 mg. I can understand the weight but don't understand why it turned out brown after washing it...Again, I'm sure there is an easy solution or reason why this happened but I just can't seem to find it.
