Hey, I usually don't post on forums, mostly because any information I need is already there. However, since were dealing with something extremely personal, I figure I should ask directly. Now, keep in mind that I myself am only 15 years old, but this substance, this spice as you guys call it, has planted a seed in my brain that I can't get out. I learned of DMT through the artist Alex Grey, and ever since then I've become obsessed with the notion of higher understanding. I mean, it literally keeps me up at night at this point. I've done so much research that I believe I'm ready to test the waters here. Now, being 15 means that I don't have acess to the materials that most of you probably do, and my rents would have to be completley oblivious to whats going on. Therefore, I can't extract DMT from Reed Canary Grass, at least not for a few years. All I have at the moment is an open mind, a glass pipe, and a possible connection to some DMT from a friend. I've only ever smoked Marijuanna, and the synthetic canabinoids you can get at local smokeshops, such as black mamba and the like. Under the influence of the black mamba, I saw visual patterns, and experienced what I would consider a "baby trip". With this out of the way, all I need to know is this - Am I ready to smoke DMT? After all this research I'm worried that I don't have the proper tools, or the correct frame of mind for this stuff... I'm worried that my bowl is inadequate, that I'm ill prepared, and that I'm going into something that I might not be able to handle. All I need is some guidance, either detering or reasuring, I'm not sure which. I also need some tips and advice, as I'm diving into something that I have no experience with. Any and all advice is EXTREMELY helpful as this point, as I have no idea what I'm doing. A great thank you to anyone who replies...

Without meaning any disrepect to you, as a 15 year old individual you shouldnt really be posting here on the Nexus.Check the Attitude and FAQ sections;you need to be 18 or over to join this esteemed outfit.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

*sigh* I see, well then, nevermind I suppose. I guess it'll remain just a dream for the next few years. Sorry to have broken the rules, I meant no disrespect. Thanks anyway though...

No, you're not ready, would be the short answer. Remembering back to when I was 15, I honestly don't think a DMT trip would be in your best interests right now, but since you are under 18, that's as much as I'm goin to take his conversation.

^^ as above

But as in reality you can't stop people posting who are under 18 - I can say for myself that I was no where near prepared enough for this at that age. Some bongs and drinking too much was exciting enough!! But seriously, you are still forming adult opinions and without meaning to be condescending AT ALL, you are a bit too young IMO and I dont think anyone at the Nexus will disagree. THS IS NOT A NEGATIVE THING TO SAY, and is said with genuine best intentions. I wish I could be 15 again!

You've got your whole life to wait to explore this realm, I'd read up about it now, then let it go for a few years until you have a bit more experience under your belt.

Good luck!! Very happy

As mentioned before by others, you have to be 18 or older to join the DMT-Nexus. A thing clearly shown while signing up. Pleased
So this means you are suspended for the next three year, we love to see you back when you are at the right age.

Kind regards,

Since the attitude page clearly states you have to be 18 or older only, i would like to say (before you get banned) that unfortunately you're not ready yet. As much as you many convince yourself of it, the truth is you're not ready. Haste always makes waste my friend; and you should be patient until you reach the certified age. DMT will fuck your shit up

If you are still checking this thread:

I found out about entheogens from an early age but I was as concerned about heir powers as you are! In retrospect, it paid off to wait a little ...and in the remaining years you can do the necessary research and see if you still want to do it. Believe me, it'S a good thing to wait. Good luck and see you in three years brother.

you're too young man,
I started taking acid and shrooms at 15 and it fucked up me personally and my view of the world,
took a few years to clear my head properly, so DMT is a no go until you're atleast 17-18,
just stick with weed for a few years, and maybe practice meditation or something, good for stilling the mind etc, and your experiences will be more powerful when you come back to them.
Don't take the advice we're giving you lightly, we're serious.

Peace man.
It's not the first time we've been in this dream.

I cant even imagine what would have happened if I discovered DMT at age 15
No ones ever ready, but with age comes strength of perception, and that is very important on the other side

It's problematic for adults to integrate their experiences back into their normal lives, and no disrespect, but pretty much all fifteen year olds aren't mentally mature enough yet to be able to deal with DMT. Do yourself the favor, and wait a while.

I was seriously into the acid scene by the age of 15, as were a large percentage of my close friends, however I really donโ€™t think that spice would have been an intelligent place to go at that point.

As has been said by others already in this thread the spice is capable of tearing apart your understanding of everything. At the age you are reality is hard enough to deal with! I am actually quite glad it took me a decade to manage to come into contact with it.

I am now 32 and have 18 years of exploration behind me and I still have a hard time integrating what spice has to give and recovering from a good hyperspace arse-kicking takes me serious work and reassessment. Take your time and explore yourself before you dive in with spice, and donโ€™t worry it isnโ€™t going to disappear any time soon!

Stop a while and listen to these people.
They are offering great advice.

DMT is nothing short of a serious ordeal.
A lot of older people come on this forum and talk about how it messed with their thought process.
Some claim to have experienced irreversible mental damage.
Do yourself a favor and ask yourself if you are truly ready to live with the consequences if things do go sour.

listen to what people are saying here.

Do yourself a favor stay away from this stuff for a long while.
You have your whole life ahead of you.
Stay on the smart and careful side of things.

I am 45 years old and have moments where i wish i never found this stuff honestly.

Now i'm sure everything being said on nexus sounds so amazing and an invitation to want to try it.

There are some things in life better left alone my friend and in this case its never been more true.

Your simply too young and i know that sounds like the classic cliche but this is a truth.

Be well and be smart listen to what we are saying here. You have the rest of your life.

There are a dozen means of exploring higher consciousness which you can pursue, however.

Read, learn, practice meditation. There will be time.

listen to everyone else. NO ONE, no matter what age, should jump from pot to DMT!!! In order to jump of a cliff and not plummet to your death, you must develop wings first.

I disagree... DMT was my first truly psychedelic experience, pot use being the sum of previous experimentation. While nothing can truly ready you for the experience, a lot of research and a calm mind will help you not freak out as much as any prior acid/mushroom trips might.

that is very true, but it's obvious this kid has not done enough research yet.

Not to encourage anyone in one way or another, but swim wishes someone would have shown him this at an earlier age.... he feels he might have appreciated everything given to him alot more. Especially knowledge, and the free schooling and all the help highschool has to offer.... :/ but we're all on our own path, and it might be true it was shown to him when he could utilize such a powerful tool, but maybe not....
