How accessible is this freezer? I doubt many here have experimented with freezers that can go that low. All the information available on the web does not seem very uniform. Some are claiming -22F, which seems way to high. You could always try it out for yourself. I'm sure many other users would like to know.

For heating, just use a hot water bath. Be sure not to heat it directly, because of the naphtha and all.

To prevent the possibility of freezing naphtha/shattering jar and losing the pull, you might as well try freezing pure naphtha as an initial test.
