I am new to the forums and I just wanted to start out by sharing an incredible experience I had last November. It was a warm, cloudless day and I had finally attained some pure white spice from an acquaintance. I went to my friends house as we were about to go on a drive to meet some other friends. We walked out behind his house into a small clearing in the woods and sat down under the shade of the trees, although the sunlight was permeating through the branches; it was wintertime so all of the leaves were gone. I sat down and packed the spice on top of a layer of weed, then proceeded to pack another layer of weed on top. It was the first time I had tried this method. My previous breakthrough had come about through freebasing. My friends bong was painted, so as I took the first hit I wasn't sure if my smoking method had actually worked or not. I took out the slide and pulled and instantly knew it had worked. I took a massive hit, held it in for about 10 seconds, then had time to take 2 smaller hits before I collapsed back into the leaves. The branches were stark black against the cloudless blue sky, and the branches began growing and shooting across the entire sky. I then found myself in the most pleasant state I had ever been. For some reason I felt like something was giving me the thought "Clouds are nothing." I stayed in the pleasant state for what seemed like a very long time, enjoying the colors and intricate geometric patterns. When I snapped back to reality the trees were all strobing and switching places. It looked like a very, very fast time lapse, like I was seeing the forest go through a hundred years in about 20 seconds. Then I sat up and started laughing. Everything looked cel shaded and cartoony, and the trees were still switching places. I walked back into the sunlight and in five more minutes I was back to normal and my friend and I hit the road.

Also, I'm about to try my first extraction, so I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm very excited and glad to have found such a positive community to be a part of! Very happy

haha very familiar Smile

try mushrooms around campfire at night, then lay back and look at the contrast between trees/plant and blue sky at the horizon..

works like a charm Smile

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Haha thanks for the tip, that sounds superb!

I've only had the opportunity to have mushrooms in the woods once before, I'll have to take your advice as soon as I get the chance! Cool

Sounds fantastic! Welcome and good luck with your extractions Smile
You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.

If you see me at the waterpark, please say hello. I'll be the delusional 50 something in the American flag Speedo, oiling up his monster guns while responding to imaginary requests for selfies from invisible teenage girls.

welcome!

Sounds like a pleasant experience man. I'm happy for you. By the way, I'm digging the Merriweather Post Pavilion avatar pic. That album brings me back everytime. It's very well put together.

thankyou

Thanks everyone!

And I'm glad to have found another Animal Collective fan here. I was listening to that album today, simply stunning. Plus I love the artwork!
