Hey guys, I woke up this morning wishing my reality didn't exist. This had happened to me before. Sometimes in the dream I meet a girl, or win the lottery, or find a pound of weed. But, the strongest dreams are those with this girl 'of my dreams'.
This has happened to me a few times. I'll meet a girl, or know a girl, in my dreams. This girl is perfect in every way. Even her flaws are amazing in every way. I did DMT yesterday and the journey's message was about setting me on the right path. Maybe this is a continuation of that lesson in my dreams. I can fall in love in my dreams, and when I wake up, I hate that I've lost this person I feel I know. I don't know if the girl of dreams exists on earth, but if she does, she could make me happy even if I had nothing else.
Please let me know if you've had similar experiences. I've never had feeling this strong for any of my girlfriends in the past.

Yeah I hate those dreams. I shrug them off pretty quickly though.

I actually wrote that down as one of my lucid dream control alerts. If I meet someone who is too good to be true, it's because I'm dreaming Smile

Lol, it's takes me about 30minutes to shrug it off. I've just had so many amazing dreams. I've also won the lottery and such, but the one's with that 'perfect' person are crazy. I think my brain actually releases endorphins and chemicals that simulate love. In the dream, we really know each other. I guess it's a version of me, so I know just what to do to make her happy. And vise-versa. When I wake up, I slowly forget who she is, and by the end of the day, I never think of her again.
I'm not sure if this is connected, but I've never seen a dude in hyperspace. It's always women with flowing hair or smaller, indistinguishable entities.

Lol, I'll be like jet lee in bullet time. And I can run in the middle of a war and massacre. I don't need a car though, I can run just as fast.

Yep - I have fallen in love in a dream before. It felt so real. I spent the entire day after completely gutted she didn't really exist. I still remember that dream now, Laughing

These girls probably exist. Somewhere. The girls I fall in love with are actually all very similar. I'm pretty sure this is our mind telling us who we should be with, but I'm no neurologist. The dream girls all looked alike in the face(if I saw it), maybe different clothes or styles but same body type. Also, same personality. But, this may also be my brain's limited capacity to create new people.

I've done that before as well... I'm on the same boat as 1664 here, I usually spend the whole next day depressed about it

yea trustlove, i've had those dreams as well. they're so beautiful while in them, and when i wake up from an intense passionate dream, its upsetting, and i'll just keep sleeping in the bed for as long as possible to hold onto the dream, and the feelings associated with it. but they always slip away with time, gradually fading in intensity, with a declining emotional chargeCrying or very sad ...until i eventually forget what the girl from my dream even looked like and what the hell happened. before i used to get depressed too for the entire day or two after realizing that the girl i loved so much was only in a dream; but now i just get a little upset, and it fades within minutes. i know i've had many of those dreams but can only remember a couple 1-2 second fragments, nothing more

I'm still waiting for Psychedelic Prince Charming to roll up outside my basement cloister on a giant Sonoran Desert Toad, wearing nothing but fig leaves. He will throw me forcibly over his shoulder, and we will fly together down to the Amazon to his secret treehouse, where he will feed me mangoes sensuously with his fingers.

Haha, you're just too cute ms_manic_minxx! You know, he will not suddenly turn up on your doorstep. If there's one place in the world one is unlikely to meet a boyfriend or girlfriend, it is at home. You will have to meet him somewhere, a course, a ceremony, on vacation or just by walking the street!

Actually you have an advantage being a woman, I think it is much more men than woman out there that are passionate about entheogens. At least this is my experience, as I have absolutely no trouble finding male friends with an interest in entheogens, but don't seem to find many females.

It's sad actually, because I really can't see myself together with a woman that doesn't share my largest passion. Well, you know, we will all find our Psychedelic Prince/Princess when it is time! Smile

I dont know what is worse, to meet the girl of your dreams in your dreams, and then get frustrated because it never happened, or to have met the girl of your dreams in real life, she having left, and then keep dreaming about her and waking up to realize she's not there anymore and wont come back .....

Oh well, life cant always be like we want, right? Good luck to all of us Smile

Dam! I could have pulled this off if I still had Dimitri. LOL

I agree that anyone I get serious with has to love entheogens, or at least be open to them. But, then again, she's gonna have to like a lot of what I do, or it's not gonna work. She's has to have experienced at least 1 EGO death IMHO.

You might be interested by Carl Jung's writings about the Anima. It is the inner feminine personality in the unconscious mind of the male. It is the archetypal woman. From wikipedia: "It manifests itself by appearing as figures in dreams as well as by influencing a man's interactions with women and his attitudes toward them, and vice versa for females and the animus."

I cannot remember in which of Jung's books he mentioned this, but, to paraphrase, he said that a lot the initial feelings of "love" in relationships can arise from a male or female projecting his or her anima or animus onto his or her partner. To me, this seems to suggest that your anima IS your idea of a perfect woman. He goes on to say that friction will arise unless the partners can see and accept each other as they truly are, rather than idealizing each other in this way. The reality will show its (or his/her) face.

In Jungian psychology, our unconscious minds speak to us symbolically through our dreams. Draw your own conclusions. I just felt like these ideas certainly pertained to this subject Smile.

Interesting. This explains a lot of art. Smile
