ever have a maid come in - that washes a plate containing 12-14g spice - after telling her not to touch a thing on ur desk ?
and that 12-14g was the largest amount of spice id ever had seen in 1 place - that spice was the cleanest id ever made.
i dunno what to say.

...unlike the "blind leading the blind". we are more akin to a group of blind-from-birth people who have all simultaneously been given the gift of sight but have no words or mental processing capabilites to work with this new "gift".

IT IS ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT WE ARE WILLING TO EXPOSE OURSELVES OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO ANNIHILATION THAT WE DISCOVER THAT PART OF OURSELVES THAT IS INDESTRUCTIBLE.

Go to the crest of a quiet mountain, scream at the top, centre and bottom of your lungs, listen to the echo and come down a changed, calmer person.

Oh, and get a new maid...Laughing

Sorry to hear, but always remember that spice is but a pull away!

That's a buh-bye to that maid in my book. Sucks that she messed up and moreso that she wouldn't understand why she was let go, but if you can't follow directions in my house, you're gone. That'd be a lesson sorely learned and one I would not be anxious to repeat. I'm sorry phlux- that's lame Crying or very sad .

I'm presuming a plate of 'leftover food' would be cleared away quickly to avoid attracting insects in a hot climate? Maybe she wouldn't've thought that 'don't touch anything' included fast-rotting leftovers? Or maybe she didn't hear Phlux tell her to not touch anything on the table? Or maybe she just forgot that he'd said that? Etc. Without being there, you don't know, so why suggest he fires her just for making one mistake?

At least she didn't think it was drugs and report him to the police.
Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! End tribal genocide: www.survival-international.org Quick petitions for meaningful change: www.avaaz.org/en/
End prohibition: www.leap.cc www.tdpf.org.uk And "Feeling Good" by David D.Burns MD is a very useful book.

Like I said, just my opinion. The why is because of the result, not the cause. I understand she could have had whatever reason, but (were i in the position) if I tell you not to touch an area in my house it means don't touch that area, not don't touch that area except for the things you think should be touched for whatever reason. If i missed something, I told you not to touch it and will have to suffer the consequences.

I'm not advocating she be fired, merely sharing the depth of my (unsolicited) feeling on the subject.

I think Phlux is a big boy and won't be persuaded to fire her based on advice culled from an internet forum. Besides, the little smiley face next to the comment indicates a joke...
