So i came across a pretty interesting person on the interwebz,Christian Räetsch. Most of his stuff is in german, but what i could find in english is really great, full of data. If anyone has any other resources on him I'd appreciate some links...

The fascinating thing about him is, that he is a ressource on the field and recognized as a serious scientist, but at the same time got this enthusiasm he wouldn't hide. If you can understand german, watch the videos where he talks at the spiritual healing festival in germany how he wants this sticky, disgusting substance called "ego" gone and how eating mushrooms can change you because it gives you insight into the real world...

He's certainly as blunt as mckenna about his own consumption of the magic mushroom ..like he advocates "mushroom circles" at night ("12, 13 people is very special"Pleased. I would translate some videos if i had the time. Maybe later.

His wife Claudia Müller-Ebeling also seems to be very interesting. She specializes in the "artistic" aspects of the experience. I saw a video where she would talk about how shamans from all over the world could READ sacred patterns (like shipibo patterns) despite not beeing part of the culture.

The "50 years of mushroom experiences" was my favorite..I saw that one 2 or 3 years ago but now youtube has taken down the traslated version..not sure why..glad I watched it when I could.

This is verrrry relevant to my interest... Smile

im an art student trying to perfect visual communication, ive been playing around with the visual language idea Mckenna talks about a lot and have been doing a lot of research on the shipibo as well as the celtic, I have found some really interesting overlaps in their patterns... if you have any resources or directions to point me in on this one, i would greatly appreciate it.
