Saw this from mentalfloss and thought of you all: a TED talk about the development of 3D interfaces like the ones in Minority Report, with a live demo at the end. We'll be right at home.

If you think what the Wii has already delivered for motion driven interaction, it's a case of taking that further. Very interesting, thanks 88. I <3 TED.

I have been predicting 10 years for this innovation, holographic chips and memory and for "entertainment rooms" - essentially holo-deck style interactive online games and related content in a dedicated room in homes all over; this is definitely a step in that direction!

With moore's law, who knows, five years might not be out of the question!

beam me up Scotty!

JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

"technology is capable of expressing and being imbued with a certain generosity, and we need to demand that in fact."

Great quote.

This is going to be incredible. I like that he says also, EVERYONE NEEDS THIS!!. It will be standard.

its not going to cost an arm and a leg and some spleen to get this. Anyone will be able to get this, anywhere. Incredible.
Lets go extract something together Smile
