Since my original solution using 100g MHRB seems a little diluted I thought maybe adding a few more tablespoons of lye. After adding and shaking for a couple minutes, I let it stand and shortly thereafter added naptha and did a pull. And looking at my jar in the freezer, wow, it collected a lot more DMT than before. Is it okay to pull within five minutes after adding NaOH to the solution, because I do not want any lye contaminating the DMT, or is this even an issue? Ive done about 3 pulls from this solution I thought I should be getting a better yield so adding more lye I thought I could "drain" more of the DMT out of the solution. Is there anything wrong with doing this? Thank you.

Lye is water soluble, but not very soluble at all in naphtha, so as long as you keep all the water out of your collection jar, there will not be any lye in your freeze precip.

the added heat of lye addition can also add to the np ability to pick up the goods
hot np holds/absorbs alot more spice

After swim does a pull that doesn't yeild much (after mutliple pulls) he will add some NaoH, agitate let settle and do another pull. Helps squeeze just a little more before I start going for jungle.
