did you record this? I see that it's an audio track, would make a cool background track for a song..

EDIT: Unfortunately the original file I uploaded still had some garbage (unused) samples in it, so i've removed them now
and re-uploaded the track. The part I was interested in wasn't the little goa loop (thats one of mine btw) or the dance samples
(they're bog standard FL) but the massive verby bass resonator effects setup.

Anyhoo:

Interesting response guys. Im finding it hard to beleive that a few people now have been like 'props' and 'cool sound brother'.

I became quite interested in pushing the software to the max a while back:
Im pretty sure you can do feedback with the mixer alone but most times I just use a cable from the soundcard output->input.

Peak controllers are very useful, creatively, you can have them control allsorts of things; in inverted, log-scale
or whatever formulae you want. As of yet I have been unsuccessful in acheiving the waveform-flip cancelation thing,
you know, getting two waves to cancel eachother leaving only the difference between them... although I have done some
experiments into this.

@Stevowitz: I 'made' it yeah, its more generated from a small sample though. then the peak controllers
sweep the filters. Sorry for the long sample, I would have just put it in loop mode and looped a very short part but the
peak controllers don't oscilate propperly unless they're in song mode. If you tweak the feed mix, you'll see that the whole
thing is very sensitive to input, but swells and falls in a very satsifying way.

Hey - does anyone else know any other ways to push the boundaries in FL studio? carving tracks out of white noise?
self-oscilating self-stabilizing macromachines built from effects and controllers? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Very happy

When it tried to open with FL8 it gave me the same error like "couldnt load wrapper" may be 30 times so i thought ur workin on a big nice loop or sumthin Smile when i opened now with FL9 i saw its single sound.. i was working on low frequency stuff before and i know how hard it pushes on cpu Razz but i recommend you using a "beepmap" and trying to load different patterns to it for getting such kinda sounds..
peace!

whoa... that sound is awesome... It did instantly remind me of the beepmap sound corridors was referring to.

Have you used the OhmForce line of plugins? They are sick for sound manipulation.

As far as sound generation, I HIGHLY recommend SynPlant http://www.soniccharge.com/synplant

It's a really innovative way of coming up with new sounds.

I guess I will ask this question here since it will be more fun to get an answer from someone on the Nexus.

OK I am really new to FL Studio 9 just got it yesterday I am trying to make a couple tracks and am going to record vocals to in a couple days (just bought mic, preamp and stand!!!!!).

It is probably something simple but the program is just so foreign to me..

Well here is the question..... I am trying to import a beat which is basically a complete beat I will be recording to.... I Have tried both the Import Beat under File using a .wav version and Fruity Splicer using .mp3 in both cases it just ends up cutting out after about 10 seconds of beat (is a 5 min track)?????

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

apostle11: if it a full track you want to import it as an audio clip (drag drop into the bottom part of the playlist [F5] )
and then right click the knob for 'time' and hit auto-detect. Pick your BPM range and bam, automatic.

However the 5 minuites is probably just the same loop so i'd open it in edison or audition and snip yourself a loop.
that way you can use fruity slicer to cut it up and re-arrange it like a break.

also if you have any other queries about FL just add me on msn: shoeareyou *at* gmail *DAWT* coyim. any time man;

Its pretty simple once you've really got into it but I can imagine how when confronted with it all at once you could be
like a rabbit in headlights lollllll

shoe, use the peak controllers as an input source to the forumula controller, and then use that formula controller as a controller for whatever other effect parameter you want, can get some pretty neat stuff that way
