A friend of me is having psychological problems. The complicating factor is that he is in denial about even having problems.

I'm thinking of taking a psychedelic with him and then to confront him. I know him for over twelve years now and i'm sure that he is psychologically stable enough to be able to handle it. Besides, he is experienced with psychedelics, so i'm positive that he won't get a psychosis.

First of all: i'm in doubt on whether i actually should do this, since it feels a bit like i'm ambushing him into this self-confrontation.

Secondly: if i'm gonna do this i'm not sure wich psychedelic would be best. It's gonna be either ayahuasca or peyote. Ayahuasca would have my preference, since it's the most confronting psychedelic of the two. Peyote on the other hand gives a great sense of comfort, so that might be good for dealing with difficult issues without getting realy uncomfortable.

I'm having doubts here. Any feedback is apreciated.

You are a good friend to care so much about him/her. I wish all could be so lucky to have such caring people surrounding them.

My vote would be mesc.

Peyote would be my choice, without a doubt. That is, if you want to confront him yourself, not wanting the experience to confront him. If you want the latter, I would go for Ayahuasca. But then again you can't be sure that the experience will work as intended. Good luck, you are a good friend!

Wow. Respectfully, if i was gonna try something like that, i'd tell the guy before hand and suggest only MDMA.

Very few people are able to source pure MDMA. Most sold today is piperazines, and the very little MDMA to be found is mixed with amphetamine or meth. I agree that pure MDMA is a great choice, but mescaline is a good number two if it can't be found. 2C-B would also work good.

Well polytrip, today is a beautifull sunny day for us. I think tonight will be a good moment (IF he is ready and stable today).
Btw will be tripping too Smile

Maybe you can 'build it up' and start with a light dmt/mushroom trip somewhere outside in the early evening (i will start at about 19:00). This way you can both have a nice sunset, which is magic as you know. If he likes it, and im sure he will when you are there with him, then you can let him decide if he wants to go deeper tommorow, which will probably be a sunny day also.

I suggest to do a light/medium trip with him tonight, to let him have a taste of whats coming. Then tomorow afternoon go swimming (relax) with him. And then tommorow night (after sunset) take a normal dose with him?

Im thinking mescaline will not be confronting, as you say. Maybe he will get the wrong impression because of the warm smooth caracter of mescaline..
He might be taken off guard and scared when you then introduce the more confronting substance afterwards.

I would go with the truffles (so he will know where it came from, to prevent subconscious doubts about your extraction proces). Anyways, i would make sure to both take same dose from the same tea/broth, so he knows you are on the same ride. And just be around. I would not try and steer it for him. I would let him (or actualy the substance Pleased) guide. Go with the flow of course.

I will be thinking of you two when im there.
Have a good one Smile

I think such an act of compassion is precious and poignant. Torch/Mescaline would be my suggestion to you as cactus is deeply healing and protective. I wish you and your friend safe journeys...

Is it a good idea to 'confront' him with his problems while he is in the extremely vulnerable psychedelic state? Seems a bit cruel to me but maybe he needs a sledgehammer... without any info about these problems and without knowing you and your friend, there's not much to say except be careful.

Thanks for the input and kind words.

We will probably do this when the next SHE takes place. At this moment my friend is using the days left to the event to mentally prepare himself. I've told him that we will be using ayahuasca to clear our souls and wash away all negativity that keeps us from being the person we could be.
