I think everyones opinions have been made clear enough here..there really is no need for more posts in this thread..everything house is asking for is already made evident through his preevious posts, and now this is just getting a bit old. Im locking this thread for the time being.

Edit..house I unlocked this thread, and deleted the other one you started right after. I dunno what else constructive there is that you have to say but if this just turns into a negative back and forth waste of time I will lock it again.

Thank you very much for unlocking the thread.
I have said what I needed to say.
I hope The Traveler, and the community, can understand where I am coming from by reading my previous posts and allow me my final request.

Peace.

house, as I said, with greatest sympathy for the position you find yourself in, you should be PMing the Traveller with this; it's not a matter for the rest of us, really. it's his site. His decision. Not ours.

Would you give a razor blade to someone if you knew they would cut thier wrists with it?
What, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this...

Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged into numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
Find
Itself
Innumerably.
-Sri Aubobindo

Saidin is a fictional character, and only exists in the collective unconscious. Therefore, we both do and do not exist. Everything is made up as we go along, and none of it is real.

I guess technically it is his site, but I really wanna tell you

NO, its our site, The Travelers included....

When one of the members of OUR community is saying its for his sanity that their posts get deleted, I question the people that take the side of some stupid posts that wont be here when the site gets shut down (even if it doesn't) over the sanity of one of ours.... take a step back and re evaluate the situation....

You make a bucketful of assumptions. I am sympathetic, and if I truly believed House's sanity was dependent on his deleting a bunch of words, i would agree with you. But you can't know that. And I don't believe it. And I think you do him a disservice by suggesting he is this fragile and encouraging his paranoia. He needs to know that deleting posts will accomplish nothing.

But out of respect, I still stand by my suggestion a few posts up.

House, good luck, I wish you no harm or ill-will (quite the contrary i assure you), but I for one am done with this thread.

Dear Blundering_Novice, I am truly sorry you find my request stale.
Jbark, I don't know what to say. I strongly agree with lonewolf. I do not agree with you that forcing myself to deal with the attachment here will do me any good. It won't.
I've already stated why...
There is no need to perpetuate this. I have projected my request. I am glad to know some of you can understand where I am coming from, I can only hope now the Traveler can too.

Peace and let us rest this thread, for I do not wish to annoy anyone else with my desperate and valid request.

house, this is all very sad to read, that you will leave us and want to be "erased" from here. I don't think that this is really necessary.
You can just "be" some other form of energy and block that "old beingness". It's like renewing yourself in a way, so the old self can't exist anymore.
Don't you think that is possible?

JBArk

Im not suggesting House is fragile, he is. And if for whatever reason house needs those posts deleted to move on, then thats worth more than his posts, in which im sure there is much valuable information. Even if he gets past this in a month, what does this say about this community? Plain and simple, hes saying this will help him.... why would anyone say no to such a simple request. We're not talking about moving a mountain here.....

And what are all these assumptions im making?

This reminds me of what a mess Edot is since MJ Shroomer had a tantrum and deleted every single one of his thousands of posts and replaced them all with "Deleted due to Catfish's bullshit".

When you post on here, you are giving a gift. You don't ask for gifts back. People shouldn't have to attend to irrational selfish whims out of sympathy. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's the truth. Wouldn't it be better to realise and accept that you're being irrational and deal with it? Deleting those threads are not going to make or break your sanity. Working yourself up trying to throw all the toys out of the pram might.

Will a mod please just close this thread and ban the poor guy so he can invest energy positively by seeking professional help, instead of wasting his time grovelling on here?

ohayoco, brother...
I went to a therapist who really believed I should erase everything I have done to move on...

I'm only here to defend my final request, and then I'm gone...

Personally I find it very hard to believe that a psychologist would say that. I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just saying that kind of thing sounds like the opposite of what I'd expect. Is this therapist a professionally qualified psychologist, and could you explain his reasoning please? I'm astounded that a psychologist would tell you that.

wow. go ahead and believe what you want. I found someone who is very knowledgeable about the psychedelic experience at the university who has been helping me with this.

If you can't respect my request, or believe anything I say, then so be it. This is craziness that this has to turn into this whole fiasco just because I want permanent detachment.

Is this person a qualified psychologist?

Assuming this person is a psychologist, then tell him that you can't delete your posts when you next see him, and see what he/she says.

I don't think it'll be:
"What? But your mental health hangs in the balance upon this act alone!"

More like:
"Forget about that site. Now, how have you been since we last spoke?"

Personally, I don't believe a professional would assign you the ordeal of spending hours or days deleting posts, or even worse having to battle to be allowed to do so. Not for one second. Sorry. If this guy is for real, find yourself a cognitive behavioural therapy psychologist instead. And please, read that book I suggested. Honestly, it'll do you the world of good.
