You might consider evaporating your solution down 50% and then re freeze. The dude only likes to use 50ml per pull, and that's on 100g batches & he's always had THICK crystals the next day. if one is having problems getting all the solvent out, slowly decant the base/solvent layer into a narrower container. this will aid the sucking out process. hope that helps! *We are now at a phase of human development where we have accumulated an enormous amount of knowledge through scientific research in the material world. I got some crystals alright, but nothing close to what i thought i would get. Depends on what time scale you're looking at. SWIM thinks she would evaporate ~half off, judging loosely on the pics, and then freeze precipitate. Regarding getting the spice off the sides of the jar, she FP's and then scrapes the sides before straining through a coffee filter. Some still hangs around, but much much less. Be well. That looks like a lot of naptha.. I would definately follow ragabr and evap all of those 50-60%, then freeze. Which one is the one that you re-x? Your process is very sound, I like how much you documented.
