Could an interested party use a rice cooker for the final drying stage of a CaOH/limonene/AA extraction?
The two questions would be: Does the heat significantly affect yields at this stage? Some say dry with only a fan, some say dry in an oven, has anyone done a side by side comparison with the same batch?
Would small amounts of limonene leftover at this stage be able to mess up the nonstick coating on the pan? Seems like it would float on top and boil off first if there were any.

Dry heat definitely kills the magic (noticed 100% loss in potency with some extract that was forgotten in the oven on 200F). Heating vinegar pulls to speed evap might be ok, but it's really best to leave it overnight.

Thanks for the reply. If only 200F can completely degrade it overnight, wouldn't there be significant degradation in storage?
Don't take this as doubting you, but as doubting the potential for storing any significant amount at room temp.

I can't speak to that. Most of what I've read seems to indicate relative stability at room temp. Keep in mind a stove isn't 100% accurate and it's unknown how long the extract was in there after losing all H2O.
For reference, 200F = 93C

Thanks. By the way, your username is lovely. I noticed it in another thread earlier.
