Had a very interesting daydream the other day and finally met 'The Boss'.
'The Boss' was some sort of invisible masculine entity which decided to take me on a guided tour of what I can only describe as a huge three dimensional knowledge repository. It was situated in a vast valley filled with alien and human forms of incredible prismatic colour and complexity. As I soared over the valley many of the usual 'children' entities tried to distract me with their strange nested objects but this time The Boss made a made a point that He (whatever He was - real or imagined) was taking me round today and had some lessons to teach me.
I knew The Boss was there because throughout this he was talking to me, explaining what I was being shown in the valley/library/database and asking me whether I understood. Sadly I cannot recall what the message was but it was much more complex than the usual 'everything is connected' that people seem to get. It was more about the relationship between this place and my (or everyone's) reality.
I remember at many points sentences 'spoken' in English to me were interrupted by a wierd word in a strange language which I recognised from many other experiences. I suddenly realised that this word was my True Name. I remember long ago on an intense experience from my friend Hoffman having a wierd flashback to being a newborn and thinking words in a baby language but I now realise these words were my real name. The Boss was speaking directly to my soul rather than the construct which is my everyday human name.
It went something like this: 'Can't you see X? Can you understand how this all works'
So what did my name sound like in this weird language?
Of course it's impossible to describe but here goes. It was like a cross between the following all spoken at once:
Majapanix
Stoncondlyworts
Intelligent
Navviedrex
You'll see the English word in there I am really not trying to be big-headed, just honest that something about my true name means or sounds like 'intelligent'. (If you subscribe to the idea these experiences are all self-generated then it looks as though I have a pretty high opinion of myself for which I apologise!)
Today I decided to look up 'True Name'. Now, it is a concept I am familiar with. I had no conscious knowledge it was associated with people, but I did know in myth that if you know a demon's 'True Name' then you have power over him.
I was most surprised that many cultures/myths have suggested individuals have a true name (
Wikipedia: True Name) and there is even a possible name for the language (
Wikipedia: Adamic).
I'm very much a fence sitter on the whole 'is it real or not' thing but this is certainly food for thought. Ring any bells with anyone?
