FInally gave it a go, and I SEE now. It was utterly incredibly unlike anything imaginable. There is no possible way to ever communicate this to another person who hasn't been there. You could have the best computer animation imaginable projected on a giant IMAX and it would be a very pale inadequate reflection of what happened to my consciousness last night.

It almost seems silly to try to put it into our human language. Soooo much is lost in the translation.

But anyway, heres my report.

Smoked a smaller amount at first to get a feel for it. Still had one foot on earth in my living room and another foot gingerly in the beyond. Saw all of the colorful geometry. At 2 distinct times, I saw what appeared to be a large neon green female face (not human per se, but 'seemed' female.) It happened very rapidly; she would appear in the middle of my minds field of view and wink or blink at me and then she was gone. This happened twice. I perceived it as a welcoming gesture, sort of a 'dont be afraid to come in!"

The second time, I took a larger dose (my scale only measures tenths of grams). Clean glass bong type instrument. First hit, held it in. Hit the second.....5-10 seconds later I gave my g/f 2 thumbs up, pulled my cap down over my eyes, and melted backwards in the chair.

What I saw defies normal, rational human perception and cognition. The brightest, most vivid crayon colors you could ever *not* imagine. Liquid molten wax-plastic technicolor beauty. Pulsing surging heart of the universe beauty. I had a vague sense of being 'someplace.' I felt very welcome, as if Id been here many times but never had my consciousness along with me the other times..... On some subtle level I still knew my body was in my dimly lit living room, and I felt my jaw slowly going slack. The sense of awe and wonderment....its so hard to describe with combinations of 26 character mere alphabets...... This grand circuitry of color started 'connecting?' to me...I felt like the cosmos was having some sort of wonderful orgy with me. I never felt so loved or peaceful in my life. As i still had some vague sense of my body, I know that my awestruck agape mouth became a huge happy grin.....

It DID seem to me that there was a voice telling me that it understood how I could be so awestruck. It 'knew' what this experience was like for me, but it wanted me to try and pay attention if I could. I 'saw?' or somehow became aware of 'faces?' in the midst of this perpetual color orgasm. They DEFINITELY APPEARED TO ME AS SOME KIND OF ALIEN MESOAMERICAN....things...very strong impression of that... Maybe I had polluted my sub-concscious by reading about this stuff ahead of time, I dont know. What I do (think I) know is that this stuff did NOT eminate from my imagination. It was far too fast, intricate, amazing.....

If this is just some chemical trick on my brain, its an extremely fucking cool one.

But I really have a strong sense or impression that what I saw, what I was, where I was, is a deeper, higher level of reality. I keep trying to rationalize this as "some dude on his couch tripping on drugs, etc" and it fails. I have never felt more positive, more real, more LOVED, more part-of-the-whole in my life. I've taken LSD and shrooms in the past. This is nothing like it.

My g/f also went in during my first and second try. She also had a very similar experience, though she expressed to me that she was overwhelmed and wanted it to be over. But as she reintegrated and began to talk about it she regretted not 'letting go.' I must say it was really great to have her with me in the living room; coming back from 'THERE' and having someone you love and trust in the room with you as you re-adjust is very useful. She even told me that if she hasn't *gone* there herself, she would have been somewhat dismissive of my descriptions and disucssion about what happened.

There is no way anyone could come close to this, nowhere close, without having done it.

Big UPS to Q21 and all who came before him. Vinegar and Lime for the win.

Thank you ALL!!!!!! Having this website full of intelligent, cool people as a reference is invaluable.

It was wonderful and beautiful. But strangely, Im not in a big rush to go back. It will be there when I do. I feel safe.

Excellent - one more consciousness opened; one more traveller. It is truly amazing, isn't it? And this, just lurking around in tree bark for the past few 100,000 or million years. Thanks for sharing this with us here!

i wouldnt say its so strange. SWIM can relate. He is the same way about his spice. after one trip he feels like wow that was AMAZING!, but at the same time, it was plenty and he doest feel the urge to just dive back in right away. Especially since he knows it will be there when hes ready.

Cool report man. I enjoyed reading.

!!!!! Nothing will be the same. What to do with the information/experience received is the most difficult part.

nice report. good read. I'm a bit jealous: my first and only breakthrough to date was terrifying... Makes me think that a name change is in your future mr. blundering novice!
JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Ultimately, we are all blundering novices, really... I know I am. But I am going to laugh my arse off when BN posts his 1000th post.
