depends.. its very possible it works for extraction fine, and the 'not edible' might just be a warning that doesnt necessarily mean it has something nasty in it but, unless you can find more info on what possible impurities it has, there's a risk, an uncertainty associated to using it... what if the impurity is something that reacts with or is soluble in non polar solvent and ends in your final product? If I were you I would keep trying to find some food safe one, and/or try to find more info on this specific brand you got, what it might have inside of it. But do as you wish
