Additionally in my experience there are only a few major RC vendors. I have analysized compounds from several of them in addition plenty of work has been published in the journal of forensic chemistry and similar journals showing that these products tend to be what they are marketed as and are pure. That is all I am saying, or course there are exceptions and I do not know of every single vendor in the world. However I feel it is safer than buying street drugs in general not just marijuana.

SWIM thinks that this is a very accurate statement. There are only a few people in the world synthesizing the vast majority of substances that make it onto the 'RC' drug market. SWIM is suspect that most vendors ultimately are obtaining their supplies from these very few sources. Furthermore the literature has been rather accurate about this and the DEA and other sources also make public some of their information concerning 'RC's.

Although yes there is no way of "knowing" unless one tests the substance via normal analytical methods or a very rigorous bioassay scheme.

Concerning synthetic cannabinoids (the original topic) it is unlikely that many of them are harmful. As long as they are selective for the CB1 and or CB2 receptor and behave as agonists they are unlikely to cause any more harm then heavy cannabis use. If they interact with other parts of the body its possible they can be more harmful.

But yea anyone who is selling products without stating what is contained is a scum bag. Unfortanetly a large percentage of the herbal drug market is guilty of this. Bunch of scum bag bullshitters.

Ok so I found an article on another forum from a Louisiana news site. They are trying to ban the herbs used in herbal smoking blends, like mugwort, honeyweed, sacred lotus and dwarf skullcap. Are they serious lol? I don't think they even know most of these blends are laced with a synthetic.

"Those who distribute the combined herbs would face up to five years in prison. Smoking the herbs would be punishable by up to six months in jail." WTF?

Some regions are pressing to make it illegal already since it is so powerful. It's only a matter of time before it is shut down. My local headshop stopped selling K2. Now they sell one called 'V'. If you try V be very careful this stuff is real powerful. One bowl destroyed me for an entire day and when I woke up the next morning I was still buzzed. 50 bucks for 3.5 grams and at that rate if I stay baked everyday it would last at least 2 weeks.

These 'herbs' do have JWH in them and well as some of the other compounds. They don't elaborate on that they do it because they are trying to keep under the radar so to speak. The 2 headshops I have been to don't have it in the display. You have to walk in and specifically ask for it so if you don't know about it you wont know it exists. Those who ask about it usually know what the deal is so they aren't getting suprised.

I am still just amazed that you can walk into a store and basically buy something that works just like mary jane and be 100% legal. Regardless if they ban it or not you will still be able to get it over the internet. They cant stop prescription drugs from online ordering they sure arent going to slow this down any.

EDIT:

Haha I just read that article. They are so stupid if they ban those herbs then the manufacturers will just use diffrent herbs and put the JWH on it. This isnt even gonna slow down the trend. WTH are they thinking?

Vovin, if the "V" stuff lasted that long, I'd guess it has a CP- compound in it rather than a JWH-. Of course there's no way to tell for sure since the producers are sleazy and won't tell you what you're actually getting Sad

No ingredients on the label. Doesnt even state what herbs are used. Has a very strong sage smell tho. I think the maufacturers are screwing themselves in this competition. Each company is trying to put out the strongest product to get more of a cut of the market. The issue is anyone who doesnt know better can smoke way too much real fast and this is where you get those articles in the local paper about this stuff causing kids to flip. It's easy to overdo it. Like smoking half a bag of strong weed. If anyone did that they would have bad effects as a result. This is just far easier to overdo it because it is more concentrated and comes on more slowly than weed.

Most consumers don't know what's going on. I encourage the more aware members of the community to post on other forums encouraging a general boycott of vendors who mislabel their products in a way that intentionally deprives users of their right to be informed of what they are ingesting.

Selling a bong as a 'tobacco waterpipe' for legal reasons is one thing, but advertising a research chemical as an herbal blend is highly immoral.

Nobody is gong to boycott. Everyone who buys it already knows the deal. You cant walk into a head shop and accidentally purchase this. The head shops dont want to sell to anyone that might get the news on their head. Like I said before you have to go in and ask about it it's not even displayed. If you know to ask you have done some research and should know what it is before you buy it.

They think the herbs are whats creating the "high." A few minutes on google and you could figure out otherwise. It just shows the lack of work they put into this.

Yes it reflects how poorly educated on the subject they are and these are the people who are running our nation but is stupid enough to try to ban not the active ingredient sprayed on the herbs but the herbs which will have absolutely no effect on stopping it as the manufacturers will just use a diffrent legal blend of herbs and totally bypass this entire rule.
