Everywhere I look people are usually 50/50 on this issue. Some say it can work, others say it can't. However, you don't need to be a "Reiki master" to achieve healing by touch. The simple act of putting your hand on someones shoulder calms them down and reassures them.

There probably is some validity behind it. The problem is you get places that offer Reiki attunement classes for x hundred dollars. Then they have online classes which even claim you can become attuned over the internet because Reiki power is not limited by dimensions...etc.

Personally, I'll stick with a nice massage.
