The vinegar is horrible tasting

Yeah, they use very concentrated acetic asid. 20% or stronger.

Anyway to reduce the flavor

SWIM left the required dose to evap at the room temp and then redissolved in

a) 5% vinegar
b) DMSO.

Worked just fine in both cases.

Probably OJ would also work. She did not try yet.

FV's tinctures are no longer vinegar-based. They now use glycerin as a base/preservative.

Right but their are a few unfortunate folks who acquired it when it was vinegar based

Thanks trickster

I was thinking about evaping and just taking like that

or using a similar method as this

That is fine.

Now, hopefully, some of our more chemistry-literate fellow members tell us what is best to use as a solvent once the original acetic acid has been evaporated:

a) use "as is";
b) dissolve in a less concentrated acetic acid;
c) dissolve in DMSO;
d) dissolve in OJ;
d) ?

i believe that ayahuasca tested by terrence mckenna came out to

* 250mg harmine
* 160mg THH
* 30mg harmaline
* 36mg DMT

So if using caapi copy take a total of

440mg a pretty heavy dose for sure

Did you mean dennis mckenna or something? I don't think Terence analyzed the contents of ayahuasca brews..Dennis may have though..

In any case. 440mg of maois is extreme overkill..I'd never recommend anyone to take such a high dose. I'd most likely puke it up actually

Many find 250mg harmine to be more than enough for a very strong journey..

But hey if you try it out let us know how it goes! Wink

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"
