Hello fellas. Swim has seen both methods mentioned in this community. He's wondering what is the difference between smoking a couple bowls of B. caapi vine shreds, compare to drinking a tea half an hour before. If making a tea, a lot more material is needed obviously(how much exactly?), and steeped all day as far as he knows. Is that really better than the smoke?

Expect a tea to be longer lasting and have a lot more bodily effects. Also I find the afterglow more lengthened with the tea. But with a strong enough smoked leaf/vine you can have similar effects.

Also with the tea there's risk of nausea and the effect isn't as instant as smoking.

gracias, yeah I hear the effects are longer lasting and some talk about a certain 'bliss factor' when using tea. If smoking can produce almost similar effects I guess Swim should just go with that. What's a good amount, a couple bowls before spice infused herb? What if Swim had 'caapi copy powder'? how much of that would he sprinkle atop and set ablaze? I suppose that would go a looong way. cheers!

I'd save that caapi copy for a good oral dose sometime. That's just me though.

When I'm smoking my spice I can't stress how beautiful it is right after smoking a good few bowls of caapi leaves. The vine's good, but there's serious magic in the leaf.

Thank you soulfood, I guess swim will do the same and save the extract for the pharma medicine. Now swim is faced with another issue: He only has B caapi vine shreds, which don't taste too well when smoked, obviously not so great to make change with. Somewhere on this forum it was mentioned that one could make a B caapi extract and add that to the changa infusion. Is there a tek for such a method? probably, just haven;t found it yet. There is so much to read here Smile
