The LSD made by sandoz in the 50's catalysed a social, sexual and spiritual revolution in the 60's, with echoes carrying through to the 70s and 80s.

I would like your opinion on whether a batch of LSD (100,000 hits for example) released into the UK would significantly change it or catalyse some sort of new revolution?

does anyone have any accurate figures on how much of this we consume and when? whats the score? need info

Thankyou everyone.

I think adding another zero onto that figure would be enough... maybe Pleased

Its actually something I've only tried once before years ago... pretty hard to get hold of decent LSD these days man.

I doubt it would kick start any sort of revolution, people are too out for themselves nowa days.. no sense of unity like there was in the 60's.

I think the number is to small out of nearly 300 million americans 100,000 is small Im thinking 10million at least. As for people being out for themselves the LSD would change all that. This is one reason my friiemd gives away spice. Since cant get a hold of 10million doses
he trys changing the world one blastoff at a time.

I dont think any substance by itself will make people better.. and, there's plenty of lsd around, at least in europe...

I think changing the world must come from elsewhere, like long term education, the gradual development of people's conscience/consciousness, or a miracle/disaster Razz

I think it has the possibility to make changes in some, but not all. It may open your mind enough to show you new possibilities, and new ways of being; but the next day when your back to baseline comes the challenge of changing your habits and negative ways of being.

I think the stigmas of lsd need to change first, so more common people would be willing to try it. Doctors, psychiatrists, scientists, need to try lsd. I see it as a tool to be used, a new way to think, a problem solver. Our society needs to be taking advantage of such an amazing thing.

It would be great to see people in their little boxes totally blown away by what lsd has to offer.

The universe is an infinite harmony of vibrating beings in an elaborate range of expansion-contraction ratios, frequency modulations, and so forth.

yep I agree.. for me, psychedelics have been an amazing tool for inner growth, but I know plenty of people that take psychedelics and dont seem to learn much. I very much agree also that its all about the integration and putting lessons in practice. Smile

I think most people would not recognize the opportunities. Not everyone was born to be a shaman. And forcing innocent people into psychedelic realms which they have no ability to navigate may not be the wisest thing to do.

yeah thats the other thing, one should never ever ever dose someone else without their consent! Thats like, primary psychedelic ethics...

but I guess he didnt mean to imply that one should forcedly/unknowingly give lsd to people, rather more like a hypothetical wondering what would happen to straight people taking lsd Smile

I had a roomate once who bragged and bragged about how much acid he had taken, he thought that he must have done it over 100 times..heheh
then one day I simply asked him:
"so what did you learn from taking so much?"
He just kinda had a blank look for a few secconds and said "uhhhh what do you mean" Stop (!!!!)
LOL
not everyone CAN benifit from such a wonderous experience, I'm convinced that not everyone HAS a life changing experience from such a substance...THAT...seriously blows my mind more than the experiences I have had with it!! are people really so thick? damn, I'm laughing just thinking about it...

this is what I keep saying to everyone. Any time I want to go and find LSD (which is very, very, rarely) I can go find it. Last time I enjoyed getting bollocks'd up on acid was atleast 6 or 7 years ago, so you might think 'oh sure, you can't find it anymore.' but you'd be wrong, because just recently, 6 months ago, I went to find some and all It took was a couple of phone calls.

Its all about who you know

My collective transformative fantasies involve something a little more accessable in the sense of something the average person can do without risking their sanity (or cultural insanity) and freedom. Have you ever heard of orgonite:
http://www.google.com/se...ql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

Well it seems one can make orgonite amulets with small amounts of herbs or alkaloids creating a super conducting feedback loop resonator of sorts.
So for example one could make a third eye dmt/pinolene orgonite head band amulet and distribute them. Maybe this could cause a 108th monkey reaction in a given population. I'm sure there are some missing links to this idea. Nevertheless, it is just one component of our 1-800 enlightenment kit that we can distribute through late night infomercials, maybe featured during reruns of the original star trek series. I think we'll need to provide some kind of headset as well whereby the pineal frequencies can be individually matched and harmonized. Hmmmmmm what else can we add to the enlightenment kit...Rolling eyes Maybe we'll have to start a thread called "enlightenment kit"...

I learned that we are all one, I merged with the godhead. We had the classic Is-IsNot-isNeither experience. There was me, Positive, My partner, Negative, And this empty void which had to exist for either of us to exist. We were all that was. It was incredible, absoloutely a 5/5 and more on the intensity scale.

I outran reality, I overcame the illusion of time. I experienced "the process of life" from numerous different viewpoints. Everything is in motion, constantly. I experienced being micronanimeteres across, a singular point of consiousness the size of a proton, with my partner as the antiproton. we were just spheres with our faces on. everything was wild.

I think I went as deep as you can go, and I remember on the way out, sealing the door and appologising profusely to her, "its only temperory, its only temperory..." as I now understand with everything, the nature of the tau. EVERYTHING is temperory. I replaced the last tiny tiny stitch of reality and stitched it back in place.

there is NOTHING except YOU. You are all that is. Even my partner eventually became a thing that I had willed into existance, or created somehow, I went that tiny snip higher than her. She was and IS beautiful, but yet she is not everything.

I explored all the contradictions, the all of everything. I went as far as you can possibly go. Everything became symbolic, symbols of symbols and so everything was represented. It was a complete and total inclusion of absoloutely everything.

I think acid trips let you go as far as you want to go. and I made sure that I went as far as I could possibly go.

But now,

Theres more.

Because thats what I learned. You never stop experiencing. You can never NOT be. It is both a beautiful beautiful gift, and a terrible terrible curse. And then again, Everything is possible. So you can also not be. But, Then your being nothing, which is really something. You see?

THATS what acid showed me.

Im really not sure If I want to go there again. Do you blame me?

now see shoe...I would expect someone who has done it so many times to have a simmilar answer...not just duuhhh I duno..
so i agree it's people that change people..not substances..but then we are all just a bunch of substances anyways so is there really any difference between anything...sounds like you reached even farther than I have with that substance...I have been turned off from REALLY diving into if for frar of impure substance and horible experiences the next day where I fel like I got ran over by a truck...however..If I had say 10 drops of some very pure...I most ceritanly would go there

BTW, if you find any webpages refering to the amulet or addition of herbs to make enhanced orgonite, please let me know. I really like the idea of experimenting with the potential homeopathic effects (or hopefully stronger) of wearing a dmt/harmala orgonite button on one's third eye. Would the DMT amulet be able to somehow communicate with your pineal and enhance either DMT or Pinolene's production? That is my curiousity.

I agree, No one should ever be forced to do a powerful psychedelic. I didn't say anything in that regard.

I also agree that most common people wouldn't quite get it, or recognize the opportunities presented. Doing lsd once and forever seeing the world differently, is different than a shaman doing work with the plants, but in my opinion they are both good things.

You know that orgone research is unfalsifiable, and completely unscientific, right?
Edit: actually, I don't know what I am doing giving this argument. I realised that contradictions exist in life side by side a long time ago. I practice shamanism and magick. I've seen things in other realms which could not be explained by scientific means. I honestly don't know why I am telling you this, we're a spiritual community here at the nexus.

On the other hand, they're very pretty, and I'm actually interested in making one. As a magickal persuit, banging. I just want you to know that its definately not science, even though the website purports to be technical.

"In the 1930's and 1940's, Dr. Wilhelm Reich was able to detect and measure the existence of etheric energy (life energy, chi, etc.), which he called orgone, using a modified geiger counter."

What it doesn't tell you, is that this modified gieger counter was reporting results which were well within the levels of background noise, - completely insignificant results. There are other reasons that its bogus pseudoscience too, but I can't remember them all.
