I've grown to love that pungent mothbally smell. It lingers for days. I have had this odd thought, that if I were able to lift off the top of my skull and stick my nose in, thats what I would smell.

just making sure

so I suppose that smell is inherent to simple tryptamines, it's the smell of indole. both AMT and DPT also smell like that

neither of those drugs smell like indolic compounds.

decay does, depending on the bacteria involved

Ive been told that it kinda smells like meth.. but ive never smelled or smoked it myself so i wouldnt know..

it has its own deathy smell apart from an actuall rotting corpse..
its dmt death, and that smell/taste grows on you & youll understand what i mean if youve broken through..

smelled rather pure meth before, it doesn't exactly smell like a tryptamine because it lacks the extra conjugation (the double-cyclic character).
i like the indolic smell because it's registered in my mind that tryptamines smell like this... from dpt to foxy.
death never occurred to me, mainly because I don't associate any tryptamines with death. rather, the metabolism/catabolism of tryptophan.

The first time my fiancee smelled DMT, she said that it smelled like her dying grandmother did.

It really smells like death? I had the chance to smell it at a friends house and it reminded me of a new pair of shoes. There's no better association I could have come up with.

Does anyone remember "Canned Fart"?
They used to sell it at gag & magic shops when I was a kid.
It would be an empty, clear bottle, labeled "Canned Fart".
When you took the top off and smelled inside a pungent oder identical to DMT smoke would knock you over!!
I swear to god they smeared DMT oil around the inside of those bottles, Exact same smell!!
I had forgot all about "Canned Fart" until the first time I vaporised DMT!

the smell is from the indole part of the molecule. if one smells pure indole then DMT its very very similar.

The smell is amazing in my opinion, SWIM's friend also finds that the "impure" yellowish extract smells stronger that pure white dmt. SWIM's friend once crystallised dmt to pure white crystals, which apparently didn't smell of anything. Upon trying the product however, no doubt was left about its nature Pleased

first time it entered my system it reminded me of some kind of strange arabian alien herb... got some inexplicable flashbacks from a past life or something as a sufi... (made sense at the time) Pleased

never get the burnt plastic or mothball smell...

never get the death smell.. although I have died in hyperspace before...

smells like light and life!
