first,it states that you can use ether...but can you freeze percipitate using ether?
2..if you can reduce the cake with acetone, discarding what doesnt disolve, why cant you just use acetone to begin with?
3..(not specificly for the cake method) Can you freeze percipitate with pure hexane as that is the main part of naptha?
4..it says that ether will take "jungle spice" but it wont be carried with naptha...so is it essential to use naptha for the final phase to eliminate the presence of "jungle spice" if you want pure dmt?

thanx for putting up with all my random curiosity...i look forward to your replys!

I dont know the cake method but I can answer you:

3- Yes, hexane works for freeze precip
4- naphtha/hexane/heptane are necessary if you want pure dmt, yes... some people dont mind having the extra oils and what-not that comes with jungle stuff, as it seems to also protect dmt from heat when vaporizing, being more efficient.
