I lost my brother many years ago to a brain tumour. I was still a child and so was he, it affected me deeply. The only advice I can give is to make the best of the your time together, see beyond his illness and concentrate on making your time together fun and loving. My deepest thoughts and love. A lot of strenght to your brother, you and your family. greetings all, thanks again for all the amazing messages of support and positivity. my brothers tumour around his bladder is been said to weigh around 3 stone, after biopsy results the cancer is also in his blood lymphnodes and so therefore has also been diagnosed with "non hodgekins lymphoma" which I beleive to be a form of leukimia. after extensive discussions with cardiologists , oncologists and hematologist, my brother will be bginning a massive battle on thursday were they will begin chemotherapy. due to this being cardio toxic at normal blasts he will be receiving 2-3 sessions per week for 6 months, ( I think usually the chemo for a healthy heart can be blasted over two months fairly strongly?) we are aware of the dangers and duration of such a battle, his immune system will be on its knees and he will be very sick for 1.5 to around 2 years acording to the specialists due to the chemo. this is how they intend to shrink the tumour in his bladder and also destroy the cancer cells in the lymphnodes. this will not be pretty but we will go through and give up anything just to see him stay here with us. he is having his bone marrow tested. I hear pain wise it is like someone trying to get into yur hip with a screwdriver. my family have been told we may all need to be tested for a suitible match incase he needs a bone marow transplant. he is positive and in good spirits. his battle is only just beginning but we will be there every step of the way. I have showed him your remarkable messages of love and support which took him aback, he is not a psychedelic user and is used to internet forums being full of insensitive idiots and keyboard gangsters. a place like the nexus was beyond his comprehension, as is losing him to mine. im feeling better myself, my panic attacks and manic mood dips have became less frequent. I will be sure to keep you all informed on how things go from here. love you all darryn ambi lysergance is a fictional character who in the realms of fantasy indulges in such topics as science, arts and psychoactive plant induced visions

I hope his treatment goes alright and as painlessly as possible. Here are some anti-cancer foods that everyone should eat routinely. I don't know how much help this would be to your brother, but I'm sure they would help in at least a small way and if anything it could at least be good for morale by making him feel like he is doing every little bit possible. Check it's all not contraindicated for his treatment. Green tea- recommended 3 cups a day. This slows cancer growth. People aren't meant to drink more than 3 cups a day because beyond this level it might slow normal growth too, so 3 cups is the recommended optimal amount to ingest daily. Berries etc- high in antioxidants which are anti-cancer Tomatoes, including tinned- anti-cancer, can be eaten daily Turmeric- eaten at least twice a week. It kills cancer cells. Red wine- anti-cancer apparently And eating a good varied diet in general. -- Other things that might help: Laughter, positive attitude, positive human contact, trying not to worry so perhaps keeping occupied if possible, asking your body to heal itself by visualising it healing itself and removing the cancer, praying, taking it easy, giving yourself little treats and enjoying the simple things. Kalonji / nigella sativa / black onion seed- from an Asian shop, these have featured in Indian cooking for a very long time, and Prophet Mohammed apparently said that it could cure every disease. Often seen as little black bits in naan bread- it tastes delicious in cooking. If you eat a whole tablespoonful it makes you feel happy and chilled. I ate a tablespoon once and enjoyed it. Might be worth a try sometime as an extra little treat. On the Wikipedia it says that some studies have found it to contain anti-cancer chemicals. Cranberry juice- helps your bladder apparently, although I don't know how Maybe minimise exposure to carcinogenic chemicals too where possible... using natural hippy deodorant and not wearing synthetically perfumed cosmetic products in general etc. Good luck, do all you can to get better, but be mindful not to get too goal orientated- remember to enjoy the now with him. We are all here for you too. Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! Just a word of support. My mom has survived and had 100% remission of two diffirent aggresive cancers, she had the highest dose chemo and radiation they could administer and was very ill from that, don't give up hope, she is living a full life now, and has probably done more in the last two years thanever before, including her first overseas trip.

thanks so much guys/gals. words dont fit how amazing you lot are. the support and response ive had has really helped. times ive been questioning how evil life can be and unfair..... then I come here and read stuff from you guys and it lifts my spirits not only regarding my brother but just about people in general. ohayoco, I really appreciate you taking the time to share with me anything you can that may help. your a great guy. I cant thank you enough. when you finally get your dream of escaping the shithole that is the uk, one thing is for sure we will be worse off without people like you in our society. and nordic Im so happy your mum has came through fighting and is enjoying her life more than ever. what an inspiring and strong woman. send my love please. one thing is for sure, I dont know what the future will hold and how, when and if my brother will recover. what I do know is Im going to make every day count! never let a day pass where I dont show and tell him how much he means to me, anything he ever wanted to experience in this life or see I will make it happen and share that time with him. ambi lysergance is a fictional character who in the realms of fantasy indulges in such topics as science, arts and psychoactive plant induced visions

ambi-lysergance, dude, you're an inspiration to us all! Just to let you know, I know two people who survived advanced Hodgkin's lymphoma. They got through very agressive Chemo and are both strapping, healthy lads. I know it's not what your brother has, but still. I have surivived a brain tumour, it was large, even though it was benign, it wanted to kill me and I got the better of it. It was the toughest battle I ever had to go through, but I did and I could not have done it without the endless love and undying support of those around me. Strength to you brother and pass that strength on to your brother when he needs it! Peace. Peace in mind, Love in heart

She is ok now, but I do kind of know where you're coming from.
All the best to you and yur bro.

My father a few years ago had to undergo something similar. It was discovered after he went in for bladder related problems that he had cancer. Chemo was horrible on him. Hospital nights were crude and frightening and he would often go many nights without sleep. I stayed in the hospital for hours on end, especially when he was in surgery. The recovery process was extremely difficult. He had cathader's in all day every day for a month and the pain lasted for quite some time. He made a full recovery though. In fact, just last week for spring break we both went on a long day hike together. Although I can't relate to a brotherly bond, my father is the world to me. It killed me day in and day out to see him in such a condition and I don't think I would have ever recovered if I lost him so soon. The world can be a cruel place, but humans are much stronger than most give credit for. Will power alone will win half the battle, but the other half is support from their closest family members and friends. I was in that hospital every day for too many hours. This was while I was still in high school and as much as it hurt me to not be by his side and to be in class learning some bullshit lesson that I would never need again in life, he encouraged.. No, he needed me in school more than he did by his side. It still hurts thinking about it and brings tears to my eyes knowing that I almost lost him. But like I said, since then he has made a full recovery and now and then a few jokes are tossed around about the incident. All my love goes out to your family and your brother. I hope everything is going well as I am posting quite some time after the initial post. Do not listen to anything, "Steely" says. He is a made up character that his owner likes to role play with.
