Since I’m new to the forum, I’m required to post experience reports in the “First Steps in Hyperspace” section (aren’t I?), but I’m not new to DMT. However, when I think of my most recent experience, I guess I could call it a “first step”. You’ll see why:

As I said, I’m not new to DMT, nor am I a seasoned veteran who’s been using it for years. I’ve used it for about a year, and in that time have had somewhere around 100+ sessions, with each session consisting of 2 or 3 separate experiences. So I’ve probably had 300+ DMT experiences in the past year.

I’ve had mild experiences and too intense ones (the ones where you look at the clock and see that 10 minutes have passed, and you feel like you’ve been through something very intense, but you have no memory of it at all). I’ve had misfires, sub-threshold, sub breakthrough, and deep breakthrough experiences. On about 6 or 7 occasions, I had what can only be called mystical experiences: +4 on the Shulgin scale. I like this description, especially the last sentence:

Quote:
A rare and precious transcendental state, which has been called a 'peak experience', a 'religious experience,' 'divine transformation,' a 'state of Samadhi' and many other names in other cultures. It is not connected to the +1, +2, and +3 of the measuring of a drug's intensity. It is a state of bliss, a participation mystique, a connectedness with both the interior and exterior universes, which has come about after the ingestion of a psychedelic drug, but which is not necessarily repeatable with a subsequent ingestion of that same drug. If a drug (or technique or process) were ever to be discovered which would consistently produce a plus four experience in all human beings, it is conceivable that it would signal the ultimate evolution, and perhaps the end of, the human experiment.

I’ve seen things and experienced things that have changed my beliefs (I was a philosophical materialist and an agnostic – not any more!). DMT is the Sacred Key – it unlocks the door to an immaterial realm that is as self evidently real as our material universe. (And to those who don’t believe this, I can only say that you don’t believe it because you haven’t yet had the required belief-changing experiences!)

For most of the past year, I’ve been using a torch lighter with a mini-bong and a disc of copper mesh in the bowl – I guess the equivalent of a water-cooled “machine”. It has been effective, but burning of DMT sometimes happens. And for me, inhaling burnt DMT smoke is about the same as inhaling chlorine gas. Toxic! And even when it doesn’t burn, I’m convinced that pyrolysis occurs, reducing the effectiveness of the dose and altering the experience.

As a result of my dissatisfaction with my smoking device, and all of the positive comments about the glass Vapor Genie, I decided to get one. I got it about 2 weeks ago, and use it with a thin disc of copper mesh sitting on top of the screen in the bowl. Smooth, smooth, smooth! And as I recently discovered, a GVG, copper mesh, torch lighter, and good technique, yields a brutally effective DMT delivery system.

To be continued...

Hi gibran2,

Welcome to the Nexus!

You will find that there is a tremendous amount of variation in drug experience, life experience, chemistry knowledge, philosophical/religious beliefs here at the Nexus. It is part of what makes this place so special and so healthy. All new members begin in the Nursery. Just keep posting and you will soon be promoted I am sure.

Sometimes I feel a bit like a domestic abuse victim in my dealings with DMT. . . well . . . I do love him/it . . . so maybe one more chance . . . maybe I won't get psychically vivesected this time . . . Your Shulgin quote helped me remember that this is bullshit! Not a victim of abuse, but a victim of my own resistances and blockages. I have had a couple of those experiences and it is good to be reminded of that when the earth and grave-bound realms try to drag me down . . .Thank You Very Much.

I love my new GVG too! I would change "brutally" to "ridiculously." Vaping an enhanced leaf mix (changa) in the GVG seems to yield an ideal delivery system for me. Also, re-loads are wonderfully easy.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

I've got to stick with "brutally" - you'll see why as my story continues. But I must say that the GVG is the IDEAL device for DMT delivery, whether as part of a changa mix, or by itself.

I like to limit my smoke/vapor intake to the minimum possible, so I haven't used changa. But I often use sublingual THH or Caapi Copy about 30 minutes before launch.

What is a GVG?? Though I haven't broken through yet, i require massive amounts of balls to take the plunge(due to fear, anxiety, and egocentric loss of control), but I recommend to my friends the ol'lightbulb vaporizer.

GVG is an abbreviation for glass vapor genie.

If you can't get a vapor genie then the leaf bed method works well, much better than a crackpipelike device or lightbulb in my experience.

welcome to the nexus Gibran2!
