Hi all, I have managed to get hold of some DMT vape juice as there was no freebase available. Only thing is its my first time and I have read that its best to smoke it with a glass pipe first. As this is not an option for me anymore has anyone got any advice on dosage with vape juice? How does 20mg which Is what I was going to try first, translate into vape juice amount?

vape juice should be smoked in a vape rig ... "electric vaporiser", "sub ohm tank", etc the terminology is varied and a bit specialist. As for dosing, the good thing about vape juice is that you can just take a short puff to see how it feels, then take more longer puffs to explore the different dosages. It's also a very outdoor and sharing friendly method, as you don't need to worry about handling small amounts of precious powser in a breeze!

Downside is that, depending on the strength of your juice, you may need to take in many long puffs to completely leave this reality... if that's your goal

edit: I should add that, personally, I use a vaporesso veco tank with euc 0.3ohm SS coils on a geekvape aegis solo mod ... (see how the jargon piles up quickly!) and, unlike the author of that video, haven't experienced any problems. But then I've also not really gone for it and taken multiple ten second pulls that might show up any wick feeding problems either.

Further edit: regarding dosage, you really can't tell how much you're getting with vape juice, you could guesstimate after the fact if you know what concentration of dmt you had in the juice and dividing by the number of vaping seconds it took to consume it all. But there's no real way to reliably map puffs to milligrams beforehand IMHO. So I recommend using bioassay and just starting small then working upwards in terms of puff duration and power applied by your mod box.

From what I have read it's pretty much impossible to control dose with those vape carts. I have also read it is very difficult to breakthrough. So, without having ever used one, my conclusion is that the vape carts might be a good start for getting a sense of low and mid-level doses.

I would suggest making your set and setting as perfect as possible, do whatever rituals or meditations or anything else you do before you take a journey, then take a mid-sized rip, set it down, lay back, close your eyes and try to let go.

You should at least get a body load. A feeling of heaviness or anesthesia, a relaxation, a very good feeling.

If you get enough of a dose and can let go enough you might get some closed eye visuals.

If this works and you like it, your eyes will open on their own after 5-10 minutes and you can wait a little while, maybe journal a bit, then try two rips with the same procedure.

Take a taste, . . . . if you like the waters, . . . .titrate up until you find a sweet spot.

I am weary of the DMT concentrating toward the bottom or sticking to the coils in vape carts. I definitely went way, way farther than I meant to with one. Whether this was the case or I simply inhaled harder or longer than previously without realizing, be careful with these things.

This was exactly my previous setup, worked like a charm, no problems neither. Several friends to whom I recommended this same setup are very happy with it too. I have changed mine few months ago though, now I use the Aegis Z-Max tank with 0.15 or 0.2 coils + T200 box. It's a little more powerful, especially with 1g/2ml juice
