Greetings all,

I feel like I have found a community of my peers in DMT-Nexus. While I am admittedly new to the DMT experience, I have been an enthusiast of Entheogenic therapy for almost three decades.

I have been cultivating mushrooms on and off since the 1990s and recently have taken up growing active species of cacti as well as alkaloid extractions.

In going through the process of completing the questionnaire, I learned so much about not just DMT but how many of the substances I value interact with the human body and how to work with them safely.

I have not spent a lot of time in the forum or chat as of yet, I'm fairly introverted at times. I would like to begin interacting more, however, from what I have seen of the report of this community, I can tell y'all are my people.

I am an outspoken, unapologetic advocate for the legalization, and social acceptance of the use of entheogens for therapeutic, spiritual, and recreational uses.

Namaste

A warm welcome to you, Tickle.

Are you growing mushrooms presently? If so, what kinds? I'm behind on my grow and need to get it up and running again. Life... Laughing

I'm assuming you've done some DMT (it's okay if you haven't) . What have your experiences been like?

It's funny, because I tend to be pretty introverted also, but I'm all over the place here. A very special little microcosm here. And we're happy to have you.

One love

Thank you for the welcome!

Yes, I am currently about to send the following grain spawn to substrate: Panaeolus cyanescens, Psilocybe Penis Envy, Psilocybe Natalensis, & Psilocybe Bluey Vitton.

Yes, I have experienced DMT. To be honest, for me, the effects are more intense and gripping than I am looking for in an Entheogen, for my healing or recreational purposes. I certainly see the merit of it and acknowledge its exceptional spiritual power.

I think perhaps in the future when I have established my mental health and overall health in a better place, I may revisit it.

I will continue to include DMT in my research and advocacy work toward greater public understanding, legalization, availability, and social acceptance of entheogens. My journey with this community, DMT, and other entheogens is motivated primarily by my desire to help others who are seeking this experience, especially those suffering from addiction, PTSD, and depression/anxiety disorders. Particularly where currently available, legal, and insurance subsidized medications and therapies have not shown adequate efficacy.

Tell me about your experience studying mycology and what species you have worked with.

I'm always glad to meet a new mycophile to learn with/from and pass along knowledge to when I can.

Peace
-Tickle

Ticklenutts,

Welcome to the Nexus and thank you for that introduction. I enjoyed that poster also, Very happy.

Regarding DMT, have you tried vaporhuasca or an oral brew yet? No pressure, but doing it with an oral MAOI on board really slows things down. Lengthens things too.

Regardless, you sound like a good fit and I hope you enjoy your time here. Again, a warm welcome.

What's up Ticklenutts!!

You have indeed found your hive of likeminded people. Welcome! I'm glad you decided to create an account, make your first post, and join us! When you know, you KNOW!

Have you had your first DMT experience?

I couldn't agree more that the psychedelic experience should be licit and available to all who seek it.
