Given that, in times of prohibition prior to the information age, the knowledge that Erowid disseminates would have been nearly impossible to come across and that even in today's time, they are THE source for accurate information, whatever mechanisms they need to keep themselves up and running as well as backed up and failsafe should be procured by whoever's in charge of that.
