I know all to well that when you see a thread with 15 pages, it seems like a daunting task to read through it all. Here is a little summary of the legendary thread Guide to enhanced leaf (changa)First lets get the terminoly right, Changa=MAOI leaf/herb infused with DMT, enhanced leaf=well that one is quite explanitory. When I make Changa/enhanced leaf, I never use more than two herbs. Some of my first experiments were with like 3,4 even 5 herbs, I never liked so many. I understand that alot of people dont have access to many visionary herbs, so if you are starting off with enhancing some leaf, passionflower, weed and mullein seem to be quite readily available. I read that these herbs grow in many places My favourite herbs: CAAPI leaf, chaliponga leaf, pau d'arco, mullein, blue lotus, passionflower and calea. These herbs have given me the best of journeys. The list of herbs that can be used is endless, hell even dried rose petals can be used. These days I use Caapi leaf and any one of the other herbs, Caapi is a must. I cant stress this enough. Caapi and chali, caapi and pau do it for me. Alot of these herbs are used by many members so they do work. I dont have the words or descriptions like some other members to explain how these herbs affect the journey, but each one has its own property's. Ratio for mix: Always 1:1. Dont do anything less, you are wasting lung capacity if you do. I dont see any use in mixing more DMT than herb. Smoking the enhanced leaf/changa: Bongs are the best, if you have access to a VG use it. The way I smoke most times is to load up my VG with a small bowl amount, and then a few minutes later, I rip that changa bong with a big bowl. This hit comes on fast and hard(tks smokey) If you do have Caapi leaf on hand, vape or smoke a bowl of this before, I was amazed at how much just a bowl of this leaf can change things. Remember not to kill that bowl like you are smoking weed, smoke it slow and close those eyes. Once you get these basics down, and are happy with the herbs you are working with, then you can start experimenting with adding more harmala extracts or ayasopropal. Other than that I cant really think of anything else to say. Big thanks goes out to Smokeydaze. Happy travels brothers and sisters. Oh ya one last thing, SMOKE MORE CHANGA!!!

Felt like voicing an alternative point of view to the 1:1 statement (and the smoking method). 1:1 isn't strictly necessary and there can be many pleasures to be had from a lighter mix (ie: more leaf, less spice). If the mix is properly dosed with harmalas (1/2 the weight of the spice), then lung capacity isn't an issue, you can mix in much more leaf than the equal weight of spice and enjoy a long relaxing smoke which takes you as deep as you choose to go. The presence of the harmalas allow for much more time than usual to viably smoke and get effects (compared to smoking straight spice). The great thing about changa is that it isn't a race to get as much spice in you as fast as possible. Mixing 1:2, 1:3, even 1:4 of spice to leaf allows for other wonderful methods of ingesting vs pounding back a bong hit. A healthy sized joint split casually between 4 people, allowing 4+ tokes each can be a fantastic experience allowing each person to manage their experience as it unfolds (take the next hit, pass on it until it comes around again, or stop right there). There's plenty of time to feel things out as it comes on and optionally increase the intensity depending on the individual's intention (spice doesn't always need to be a nuclear bomb to the brain to create a meaningful experience). Not arguing or anything, just pointing out alternative approaches. Lighter mixes which allow for other smoking methods and intentions have their usefulness as well. All posts by this author are blatant plagiarisms, fictitious inventions, and outright lies.

Indeed! You like what you like. I'm very tempted to experiment with "weaker" changa, as I'm getting very much into the low dose head space when those "petrol in water" effects become just visible behind closed eyes, but one feels oh so incredibly relaxed. I was never able to clear my mind and meditate but with these lower doses I can and very effectivley. So I imagine making a leaf blend specifically for this purpose would be very much worth my while. with the maoi activity it would be very effective to sustain this state. However I'd be far more interested in using bufotenine for that purpose, but DMT is definately very effective at such a task.

Nice one gam Though I'd agree with freethinker in the fact that harmala extract allows for more varied ratios, but don't get me wrong 1:1 is the way to go for a true thorough experience. I enjoy a 1:2 because I get more leaf to smoke for the same amount of DMT (ie. I don't run out of it so quick) and the haramala extract is a great way to add vroom to the experience, it really smoothens and lengths it out nicely - I love my haramala I do enjoy the 1:1s so so so much though! The basics of good changa or leaf is 1:1 with the herb containing an maoi, even if its just passionflower. A lot of the other herbs are just for personal taste but if you want a real difference put something with maoi alkaloids in your leaf.

sure you can do more than 1:1, like for people that want to smoke in joints or get lighter journey but... If you want to breakthrough, if its more than 1:1 of leaves, its much harder when you have to inhale so much smoke.. I would say rather better make 1:1, and if you want lighter smoke at any time, just mix some plain leaf with your dosage before you smoke it.. you can make it weaker easily like this, but you wont be able to make it stronger if you suddenly decide so after you have made 1:2 or whatever

You may weigh the remaining leaf, calculate appropriate amount of spice for your new desired ratio, dissolve it in IPA or acetone, dump the leaf into the solution and evaporate. Do not seek the truth, just drop your opinions.

I think he means you can't make it stronger "suddenly", it would take a day or so to dissolve / evap again. Oh great - the world has just been replaced by elf machinery. Sic transit gloria mundi

I'd just like to add that I feel like the ultimate lover to myself. My hoodie, after an amazing changa session, smelled so much of oranges and the fourth dimension, I cuddled with it when I went to sleep. After lots of experimentation, I find that a bong with a large chamber, and 1:1 ratio changa works well. I hate coughing, getting scratchy throat, and taking huge rips (of anything... ugh), so I found a bong that's maybe 18-24'' tall. I can smoke slowly, from the stomach, fill the chamber, take my time, and the smoke is never too hot. (And it's shiny! ) Ayahuasca leaves by themselves are extremely powerful. They bring a powerful element to the changa experience, especially if you've established a relationship with Ayahuasca. I smoked some plain Ayahuasca leaf last night, and the Earth became a giant organism, the rhythm of the seasons massive inhales and exhales of Earth herself. I felt what it was like to be a tree, and grow thin, fleshy leaves, full of veins, by eating sunlight. I understood how humans, as a whole, were behaving like cancerous cells inside the organism Earth, and wanted to fling myself at the ground, weep, hug the trees in my yard, and run far away from civilization. I went inside, ate some grapefruits, and realized that every time we eat plants, they speak to us; I saw where the trees had grown; I tasted what they ate, the warmth of the sun, the richness of the soil, I connected with their environment. We are so deaf to an eternal symphony of intelligent communication. It is such a blessing to reconnect... Yes... Do smoke some changa. I highly recommend the Caapi leaf. Some things will come easy, some will be a test

Something else important swim has noticed while smoking infused leaf is you want the path in your bong from the cone to the surface of the water as short as possible. a stem 4 or 5cm longer can make a big difference, so mid sized bongs are suited to this nothing huge.

Does caapi vine also work? Can you salty harmala extracts (with salt residues) ?

Yip caapi vine works too, might taste a bit woody but itdoes work. Just grind it it up to smoking consistency.
