I have used this Tek before with pretty good results, after which I dissolve the crystals in the water in heptane to get the fluffy white:
https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m..._Freebase_Conversion_TEK

However, after four days in the back of the fridge, the bottom froze.
I converted crystals in the water that was not frozen

The ice took forever to melt back to liquid, even in a double boiler.
After it melted, I put the water that was not frozen before back in the jar, and left it at the front of the fridge, where it shouldn't be so cold.

That was yesterday. Today i look at the jar, and it's frozen again.
Picture attached.
Any ideas why this happens?

Also, what should be the ratio in weight from fumarate to freebase? I normally get about 50% freebase of the fumarate weight. Would this be a normal ratio?
Thanks

The Just checked on it. The liquid is pretty dense, almost slimy. The bottom part is frozen solid.
This is my third time doing conversion, and the first time this has happened.
Video that might give a better idea attached.

It turns out that it's a solid crystalized block, not frozen.

I'm going to let it dry and then pull. Also, reduce and evaporate the liquid part, pull whatever is left with heptane, and soak the solid block in warm heptane as well, and see what happens.
