The last few times I've drunk herbal laxative teas based on Senna, I've had wild (good, beautiful) dreams, and in half-sleep states at night I get beautiful visuals.

Does anybody else experience this? This blend is just Senna, Peppermint, and Fennel. I've taken the other two herbs without experiencing this effect.

Whatever it is, I'm pleased with it, and I don't feel irritated in my digestive system, so I may explore this further.

It reminds me of Ayahuasca, especially that which is made with Psychotria viridis. Luminous crystalline structures emerging from dark, organic, beautiful natural imagery, both geographic (mud and rivers and clouds and canyons and stuff) and biological (leaves and trees and stuff).
