As I lurked the forums over the past several weeks in my quest to understand the holy molecule, I increasingly felt like it should be a dialogue rather than just me smiling to myself over the super informative discussions. I felt a bit hesitant, but it's only due to reading posts written thoughtfully, intelligently and scientifically that I felt confidant enough to voice my little hello.
I'm an Austr-alien and I use plants for medicine, to help my home feel like home, to dye cloth, to weave and create with and to feed my meat-sack (veg here). That's my motivation, I suppose, and I've been doing it in various capacities for my wellness for as long as I can remember. I'm Romani, so I think it's in my blood a bit, in the way that I watched my grandmother concoct (half-superstitious, half totally bonefide) remedies with her foraging and plant knowledge.
So for that reason, I've liked reading Entropymancer's Jungle Spice contribution on The Entheogen Review, that was a good read. Or the huge Acacia thread where Nen and some others recorded really interesting finds. I am interested in not just their DMT discoveries, but about species, their origins & histories, the article posted where an Acacia seed successfully sprouted after 100 years of dormancy.
I look forward to continuing the read.
