ok well at least its' not research based.
I'm shaky radical, I'm a person looking for some healing.
I'm a person in recovery from severe substance abuse disorder.(ten years removed)
and so exploring this world is something I'm very cautiously entering.
I also have long covid, for over 2 years I've been pretty severely disabled, and I have some hope
in the medicine being able to facilitate healing.
really enthusiastic about learning, and learning how to wisely incorporate the medicines into my recovery.
much appreciation for all you who came before and have shared so generously your experience.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hello shakyradical,

Welcome to the Nexus.

Much respect for your search for healing. I would encourage you to do a lot of research and reading, take it slow and acknowledge your limits (covid changed my life also).

Do you have any entheogen experience yet?

You had mentioned recovery from a substance abuse disorder. Many of us here are in a similar boat and some of us are enjoying a similar time of freedom (10 or more years) as you. I think you will find resonance with the souls here.

If you are just starting out, I would strongly recommend avoiding chemicals and focusing on the plant teachers. Things like mushrooms and cactus . . . there is a LOT of information on how to work with, grow and extract from plants here. It is a delightful rabbit hole.

Again, welcome and hope to see you around.

hi pandora.

thanks for the warm welcome.
much appreciated and it's lovely to know there are others with similar recovery stories around the nexus.

thanks for sharing about your covid experience as well. it's a tough road and a blessing is that it has happened to many at once so we're not alone.

I have experience in my past life with psilocybin,LSD and MDMA. but never with the intent of psychic/spiritual development.

since posting I have done my first 5-meo experience (a mild dose) and am keen to keep working with this medicine as I already feel it is getting me more connected with my body.

been macrodosing LSD as well, which has been beneficial as well with my level of calm and mental clarity.

J
